There are three bedrooms; one with a super kingsize bed, Smart TV and a lovely en-suite with a multi spray unit, double walk-in shower plus a bath and the other two both being twins (one with a handy sink in it). There’s also a family shower room, again with double walk-in shower. The living space consists of a comfortable living area with Smart TV, a separate dining room with a double sofa bed and a conservatory with seating, a telescope and access to the rear garden and patio. The kitchen/breakfast room offers everything you’ll need for your stay and the utility room has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and coffee machine.
Outside is a large rear garden consisting of trees, lawn and a patio with a big dining table, perfect for outdoor family gatherings. Children will love running in and out of the trees and bushes and hidden away is a quiet sun lounging area. To the front of the property is an additional garden area and parking for up to five cars on the driveway. Then there’s the games rooms which can be accessed via the side of the building, where you will find table tennis, air hockey, darts, table football, a games console, a TV and even a toilet.
If it’s the beach life you’re looking for then you’ll be spoiled for choice with the nearest beach being just 3 miles away. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities. There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover within a short drive including Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Morwenstow and stunning Tintagel, inextricably linked to the legend of King Arthur. Further afield the fishing port of Padstow is a popular tourist destination. Bude is a fabulous coastal town and has something for everyone including great beaches, rockpools and cafés to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the Southwest Coast Path offer you a superb opportunity to explore the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a heritage centre at Bude Castle.

- Portscatho, EnglandThe Bothy (CWC575120) is a semi-detached, listed cottage, nestled alongside the main farmhouse, with two bedrooms it is an ideal size for a small family yet not too big for a couple, the terrace is private and protected, you are bound to have pheasants wandering in front of the living room windows while you are kept cosy by the wood burning stove. At the same time, you can sit in the deep window seats watching yachts and ships pass by on the horizon. Lavender Cottage (CWC575149 was once the estate’s potting shed and is an oasis of calm. The private patio is a suntrap and overlooks the walled garden, the living room has a cosy fire and TV and excellent broadband, the kitchen is bright and airy and has French doors that open onto the patio. Upstairs is a cosy little bedroom and a bathroom. Overall, the cottage has plenty of character and charm; if you are after a romantic break, this is the perfect little cottage in the perfect location. Place Barton is located high on a ridge on St Anthony Headland and is part of the Place Estate, this is the perfect place to escape from reality there are few better places to enjoy the true beauty of the idyllic Roseland Peninsula. Surrounded by rolling rural landscapes, stunning walks with the best views of St Mawes, Place House, Pendennis Castle, Falmouth and the Carrick Roads. Explore St Anthony Head and the Lighthouse, famously used as the base for the TV series Fraggle Rock and also Molunan Beaches which are right by the lighthouse. As a bonus you can take the car down a private lane to within a couple of hundred yards of the beach, closer if you bring a 4x4, and are confident of its off-roading capability. There is a cosy wood burner and comfy sofas which will make it a treat for a winter break. At the other end of the building is a set of French windows that open out into the enclosed patio garden. Trebethis (CWC566710) has tiled floors, a beautiful granite fireplace made from three gateposts, exposed beams, including a massive ash beam that separates the kitchen from dining area, all combine to exude character in this superb barn conversion. Honeysuckle Cottage (CWC566741) has been converted from a 400 year old cart house. Inside you will find a bright and spacious open plan living area that welcomes you in, while both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and enhance the ambience. The property has been updated with a larger main bedroom with kingsize bed and a new bathroom with walk in shower. There are French doors that lead out onto a secluded patio garden, a perfect spot to soak up the Cornish air and sunshine, read a book or enjoy your favourite tipple.
