Ashbourne has a good selection of independent and high street shops, supermarkets, leisure centres, bars and restaurants to be enjoyed, as well as being one of the best locations in the Peaks for walking and cycling.
    Just a short drive from the house is Dovedale, known famously for its unique feature of stepping stones across the River Dove, where you can take a fantastic walk to Ilam and across Thorpe Cloud where your views are stunning, the Tissington Trail also has a great route and perfect for cycling, as well as Carsington Water which is an 8-mile stretch around the reservoir which also offers many water sports. Alton Towers is a keen favourite for holidaymakers staying in Ashbourne as it is just a short 15-minute drive away to adrenaline fun. There are plenty of options here for all the family and friends to ensure you are all making memorable moments together.
    Doves Nest offers modern and spacious accommodation for up to ten guests. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining room with bi-fold doors opening out into the extensive garden making a great hub for you to gather and enjoy your social time. There is also a separate utility room, great for storing boots or any clothes that could get mucky ambling those Peak District hills. There is a comfortable lliving room at the front of the house with bay windows and a Smart TV, and a downstairs separate toilet. The first floor offers four double bedrooms; the master has an en-suite shower room and there is a family bathroom with shower over bath. On the second floor the final double bedroom is located with an en-suite shower room (please note as this room is built into the loft there is restricted ceiling height but it is light and private all the same). There is underfloor heating throughout the property and solar panels placed on the roof. The garden has been lawned and manicured beautifully with a patio area and seating directly outside the kitchen/dining room diner. Doves Nest is the perfect Peak District retreat.
