    Just a short drive from the house is Dovedale, known famously for its unique feature of stepping stones across the River Dove, where you can take a fantastic walk to Ilam and across Thorpe Cloud where your views are stunning, the Tissington Trail also has a great route and perfect for cycling, as well as Carsington Water which is an 8-mile stretch around the reservoir which also offers many water sports. Alton Towers is a keen favourite for holidaymakers staying in Ashbourne as it is just a short 15-minute drive away to adrenaline fun. There are plenty of options here for all the family and friends to ensure you are all making memorable moments together.
