The tourist attraction War Horse Valley Country Farm Park is just a 5 minute drive away, where visitors can enjoy a cream tea, a tractor and trailer ride, explore the museum, a farm trail and meet the friendly animals.
    Four miles away the larger community of Winkleigh has an excellent range of facilities including a village store, post office, butchers, two public houses and a petrol station. A wider range of services and facilities are available in the nearby market town of Hatherleigh. Whilst Okehamapton, only 12 miles away, is known as the Gateway to Dartmoor and has a supermarket and numerous interesting boutiques and restaurants. Beach 21 miles.
