As you step into the property, you’ll be charmed by its tasteful decor, with furniture mainly sourced from the renowned OKA collection, creating an ambiance of elegance and comfort. The property is all on one level located on the ground floor. The living room beckons with its snug ambiance, boasting a Smart TV with Sky for your entertainment. Curl up on the comfortable seating or gather around the additional dining table, while the crackling woodburner creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is a culinary haven, featuring Kitchen Aid appliances and a dining table where you can enjoy delightful meals together. French doors lead to the garden and an exciting games room, where entertainment knows no bounds. Unwind in front of the Sky TV or wood burner, challenge each other to a friendly game of pool, table tennis, or darts, and explore an array of board games for delightful evenings spent together. Retreat to the master bedroom, featuring a plush kingsize bed. If you’re traveling with a little one, a travel cot can be requested. We happily welcome two small (or one big), well-behaved dogs to join you on your countryside adventure. Although we kindly ask that your furry friend remains on a lead in the garden, they can freely explore the 5-acres of private woodlands and paddocks which is fully enclosed to roam freely.

Test your skills and push your limits with a range of thrilling activities such as rock climbing, archery, and off-road biking. Within an hour’s drive, you can reach Bristol and Bath. Explore Glastonbury’s Abbey and Tor, Wells’ cathedral and Bishop’s palace, or Cheddar’s famous caves and gorge. All within 30 minutes and promising delightful adventures. Close to both coast and countryside the cottages allow you to take full advantage of the scenic, traditional British seaside town of Filey, while for those who enjoy striding out along rural trails, the North York Moors are on your doorstep. The cottages have an open, shared lawn to the front of the properties, and a well-equipped games room and children’s play area. Filey is a traditional Edwardian seaside town. A perfect place for an active holiday or just to relax. The five mile stretch of sandy beach is protected by the rocky grandeur of Filey Brigg. Surfing, fishing, yachting, golf, walking and bird watching are just a few of the available activities. The Evron Centre provides plentiful entertainment with music, song, dance and theatre on offer. Filey has many restaurants and hostelries providing superb cuisine. Should you wish to travel further afield you will find that Yorkshire glories in one of the finest stretches of coastline in Britain, golden beaches, rocky coves and towering cliffs. Further to the north is Whitby, a picturesque fishing port and inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The famous Norfolk Broads are within 40 minutes drive, with riverside restaurants, cafes, shops, daily boat hire and river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways abundant with bird and wildlife, with many picnic opportunities along waterside. Market town of East Dereham, 2½ miles, has weekly street market, shops, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool and golf course. Gressenhall Rural Life Museum and Union Farm, 3 miles, offers an interesting day out. Thetford Forrest Park with miles of walking and cycle trails to explore and ’Go-Ape’ adventure playground and assault course, 20 miles. The Cart Shed (ref UK10576) is a wonderful, semi-detached barn conversion, also with its own hot tub, and has uninterrupted, picturesque Norfolk countryside views. It has contemporary, first floor open plan living and has a raised decked area outside which offers the opportunity for simply relaxing or dining al fresco whilst enjoying the views across the fields with its visiting wildlife. The hot tub is tucked underneath the decking and screened to retain its privacy, but still benefits from countryside views.
The Tack Room (ref UK31753) has been newly converted during 2021, beautifully fusing traditional and contemporary design to offer a very comfortable holiday home. Guests can relax and unwind on the large comfy sofa, or enjoy time sitting out on the patio, maybe even enjoying a tranquil evening under the stars relaxing in the hot tub.
Jupiter Barn ref UK31757) is semi-detached and has been cleverly restored with charm and hosts a contemporary finish and very comfortable furnishings. The open plan accommodation leads out to the enclosed lawn garden with private hot tub.
These properties provide excellent walking direct from the doorstep, and miles of footpaths and trails to explore, including local woods. It is situated in an ideal location to explore the excellent sandy beach of the North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads, which are both within a 30-minute drive. Cromer and Sheringham, also have glorious sandy beaches and are host to many attractions, perfect for everyone. Cromer boasts a pier, with a carnival week which is held in August and, weather permitting, a spectacular New Year’s Day celebration, complete with fireworks.
Places of historical interest and stately homes can be found within easy driving distance, and Blickling Hall boast open air concerts during the summer season. Perfect for entertaining the younger generations, these properties are also close to Banham Zoo, Wroxham Barns craft centre and play park, Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade and BeWILDerwood at Horning.
