Jump in the car and within twenty minutes you will find the historic town of Gloucester where parts of Harry Potter films were made in the imposing Gloucester Cathedral, and also the chic spa town of Cheltenham.

Don’t forget to pack your walking boots as Malvern Spa is just 7 miles up the road with its picturesque walks over the Malvern Hills and many bohemian independent shops. The cathedral city of Gloucester is just a short drive in the other direction, with its Victorian docks and designer retail outlet.
    For some thrill-seeking adventures head to the Forest of Dean with its cycle tracks, and high rope Go Ape attraction (20 minutes away) with the Treetop Challenge and Forest Segways. Canoeing is within 30 minutes with the glorious Symonds Yat on the River Wye. Kayaking and paddle boarding also available at the Forest of Dean. Visit Eastnor Castle with family events include steam days, have a go at archery and circus days. Steam railways close by, and caving and off road driving for the thrill seekers too.
