Reuben’s is situated in the hamlet of Boreston which lies a short distance from Moreleigh, with amenities including a village inn and good access to the principal South Hams towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Totnes. Please note this is a rural property. Roads in the vicinity are often narrow, single track with passing places typical of the region. Totnes is 6 miles away and offers a wide range of activities and pursuits. There is also a main line rail station at Totnes with services to London Paddington. The A38 dual carriageway is approximately 4 miles away and provides good access to the cities of Plymouth and Exeter. Sheepwash Square House located in a quaint North Devon village is a 1600’s Grade II listed thatched house accommodating up to twelve guests.

The well equipped kitchen is a delight with everything you could need, the large island makes a great place to socialize whilst cooking under the beautiful vaulted ceiling. The lawned walled garden and courtyard has lots of seating with parasols for sunny days. There is a delightful summer house to the rear of the garden and a firepit for sultry evenings. Sheepwash is a delightful base to explore North Devon. There is a village shop which is open several times a week selling fresh local supplies and it has a post office. The local pub does takeaways and organises fishing on the River Torridge. Just a little further by car are the market towns of Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and Okehampton. Westward Ho! in Devon or Bude in Cornwall are within a 40-minute drive. Westward Ho! has a long golden sandy beach backed by a pebble ridge. On the northern end is the Northern Burrows, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, with sand dunes, salt marsh, grassland, rocky shore and is teeming with wildlife. A shorter drive south takes you to Dartmoor National Park where you can have a delightful pub lunch in the village of Belstone or take a walk on the moors and see Dartmoor ponies.
