Immaculately presented, they lie in the grounds of a 500-acre country estate, part of which is accessible to guests, just two miles from the ancient Roman town of Cirencester.     Located in the horseshoe bend of the River Severn, Arlingham is surrounded by fantastic views of the Cotswold Hills and the Forest of Dean. Within a lovely woodland walk you will find the local village inn, with home cooked food, real ales, fine wines and a warm country welcome. Also within walking distance is another award-winning inn, renowned for its fresh seafood. Several other pubs, restaurants and take-aways are only a short drive away.
    This wonderful area is an ideal base for circular riverside and country walks, and to explore the Severn Way. The river runs for 2 miles along the farm, with its own walks and perfect picnic spots. To reach the holiday properties, guests will need to pass through the village of Frampton-on Severn, which is home to the longest village green in England offering two pubs, a village shop, a café and canal side walks. Further along the canal bank in the village of Saul, guests will find a café which offers a wonderful spot for tea and cake whilst watching the boats go by. Saul also has a marina. You are also primely positioned to reach Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetland Park, Cotswold Water Park, Berkeley Castle and Butterfly House, Prinknash Abbey (bird and deer park), Thornbury Castle and Cheltenham Race Course and The historic town of Tewkesbury with its famous abbey, Westonbirt Arboretum, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Roman city of Bath, Regency Cheltenham and the cathedral cities of Bristol and Gloucester with their historic docks are also close by.
