This luxury four-bedroom holiday property is ideal for friends and multi-generational families seeking a memorable vacation together. With its thoughtful layout and well-appointed features, it ensures that everyone, regardless of age, will find comfort and enjoyment.
Quabbs Head Cottage, before it was renovated, extended and restored, was an isolated ‘two up, two down’ country cottage. It is unknown when exactly it was built, but it is shown on the 1840 Herefordshire Tithe Map, and it seems to have been built originally in the 14th or 15th century. It is located approximately half a mile from the nearest property, with views to open country, and beneath ancient deciduous woodland, in the heart of what is now the Netherley Hall Estate. It is shown on the 1840 Tithe Map as ‘Quabhead Cottage’. Quabb’s Head means literally the ‘the head of the bog’. The original gable wall has been lovingly restored, and the extensions have been built, with oak from ancient estate woodland. On the ground floor, you’ll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each designed to offer a restful night’s sleep. These bedrooms are perfect for grandparents or older family members who may prefer to have their accommodations on the ground level, providing convenience and easy access to the main living areas. The deluxe bathroom on the ground floor includes a walk-in shower. The open-plan kitchen and living room on the ground floor create a communal space where everyone can gather, share meals, and create lasting memories. The dining room, with its ample seating for eight, provides the perfect setting for family dinners and celebrations.
The upper floor offers a master bedroom with a kingsize bed and a luxurious en-suite shower room. This bedroom provides direct access to a large upper-floor terrace, where one can escape for moments of tranquillity or enjoy a morning coffee while admiring the stunning views. The terrace can also be accessed via French doors on the landing area too. The second bedroom on the first floor, also equipped with a kingsize bed, offers a comfortable and stylish sanctuary. With its elegant decor and inviting ambiance, it’s the perfect space to recharge after a day of exploring. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor, with tub and shower overhead, which offers even more indulgence with an opulent family bathroom that is sure to impress. This stunning bathroom is a true masterpiece, boasting a high-design finish that exudes elegance and sophistication.
The beauty of this luxury holiday let lies not only in its design and high-end amenities but also in its ability to accommodate and cater to multi-generational families. Every member of the family can find their own space to relax, rejuvenate, and create cherished memories together. Whether gathering around the dining table, sharing stories on the terrace, or indulging in the comforts of the luxurious bedrooms, this holiday let is a haven for creating unforgettable moments for families of all ages. The holiday let garden is a picturesque and well-designed outdoor space, featuring three terraces that provide a delightful setting for relaxation and enjoyment. Each terrace offers its own unique atmosphere and amenities, allowing guests to choose their preferred spot for outdoor activities. Guests also have complimentary use of the tennis courts and gym within the Netherley Hall Estate, which are on a request basis.
