Groves Cottage (ref 28101) and Devonia (ref 24595) are situated in the delightful village of Newchurch, these detached holiday homes offer ideal family accommodation, each peacefully located with an enclosed garden. They lie in the charming village of Newchurch, surrounded by countryside, an area of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with plenty of walks and cycle and nature trails. Wildlife such as the famous red squirrel, various birds and other wildlife can be seen. Nearby is Amazon World Zoo Park, one of the top family attractions, and Robin Hill Adventure Park. Discover the Garlic Farm and Arreton Barns, or further afield is the picturesque Godshill with model village gift shop and tea rooms. Within a 5-minute drive, visit the popular tourist resort of Sandown, with seaside entertainment including amusements, Tiger Island Zoo, putting, crazy golf, pier leisure centre and waterside dining in one of the many restaurants and cafés. Shanklin is also within easy reach, with the magical Chine, and quaint thatched roofed tea rooms, houses and shops. There is so much to do on this sunny island, plenty of National Trust homes and gardens including Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s former holiday abode, Carisbrooke Mill, Lavender Farm, donkey sanctuary, glass making, dinosaur park and various museums. Many outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed on the island, including excellent scenic walks along miles of Heritage coastline, sailing, fishing, hang gliding, surfing, golf, cycling, riding and crabbing. Solent View is a wonderful three-bedroom holiday home with the extra bonus of a cabin in the back garden which can sleep an extra four guests. The main house is a great size. It has two double bedrooms and a bunk room. Downstairs has a large living/dining room and a lovely big kitchen with all of the appliances you will need. Another extra bonus is a large integral garage where you can store your bikes, kayaks or paddle boards. Here you will also find the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Seaview is a popular choice and has a reputation as an Edwardian resort built on its panoramic sea views and great sandy beaches, and these are still two of its largest assets. Many celebrities have been spotted holidaying here. A short walk and you will find Priory Beach, arguably one of the most stunning beaches on the island. There is a village shop and a few eateries can be enjoyed locally. The neighbouring Victorian town of Ryde is a short drive away, or you can walk along the revetment from the seafront. You will pass a couple of café on the way. Ryde has many shops, bars and restaurants and has brilliant transport links to go and explore the rest of this stunning island.
