Closer still is the pretty town of Whitstable, famed for its oysters and safe swimming spots and plentiful water sports.

    Built in 1875, Hamilton Lodge is a Victorian house featuring its own elegant turret. Each room has been designed to have a different theme from a classic antique feel to modern contemporary.
    The Lodge is built over three floors with loads of space for between 12 and 15 guests, not counting babies and dogs. Many original features have been maintained, including the lead glass in the entrance hall which has been used as a colour scheme for the interior design. Breathtakingly high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers crown the reception rooms.
    The large sitting room is spacious and has comfortable seating to allow all guests to come together for movie nights, whilst the elegant library allows for some quiet space. The large open plan living space at the back of the house is ideal for socialising, cooking, dining and just chilling and chatting. The sliding doors open out onto the garden to create a large space for entertaining.
