Fletland Holiday Hamlet enjoys an enviable position alongside the River Glen, with each property having its own private patio to enjoy overlooking the river and the grazing horses and llamas in the fields. Set within the 3 acres of mainly lawned grounds, there is plenty of opportunity to sit back and relax and take in this tranquil setting, which is an ideal place for a relaxing break. There are a further 8 acres which are enclosed and situated across the river with a riverside walk exclusive to these properties. Those taking their dog away will enjoy the large, enclosed area just for dogs to be able to run off the lead, and for the more energetic guests there is use of the tennis court by arrangement.

Situated just 9 miles from the centre of Stamford, the home of the World-Famous Burghley Horse Trials, and 11 miles from Peterborough, this is also an excellent touring base with the area boasting many good country pubs and tea rooms on your travels for refreshment with good walks and cycle routes from your door. The nearby village of Baston has a shop and pub serving good food with Market Deeping just 3.5 miles away for more shops and amenities.

This Grade II listed Park House is in the picturesque conservation village of Harlaxton near Grantham in Lincolnshire, and guests benefit from complimentary wifi and parking on site. This large, double fronted Victorian house is situated in the pretty coastal town of Sutton-on-Sea just 2 minutes walk from the beach. With its own garden with a private hot tub and games room, it provides the ideal holiday base for any family wishing to explore. Mablethorpe, just 4 miles has ‘Kids Adventure World’ ideal visit for those wet days whilst Skegness just 12 miles, has entertainments for all ages with Europe’s biggest classic ferris wheel, Hardy’s animal farm and Natureland Seal Sanctuary to name a few. Well positioned for towns such as Alford, Horncastle, Lincoln and Boston which are all within easy access. On the edge of the village of North Willingham, the barns provide an excellent base for exploring. Just 3½ miles from Market Rasen with its world famous racecourse, excellent range of restaurants, pubs, shops and market. Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive, as is the unspoilt Georgian town of Louth with two busy market days a week. A visit to the sandy beaches at Mablethorpe or Skegness are always worth a day out, as is a visit to Lincoln Cathedral and the Bailgate area used in the filming of the ‘Da Vinci Code’. Sunningdale Cottage is a detached, single-storey bungalow with a large garden set close to the centre and seafront in Chapel St Leonards, and is just a short walk to the beach. It makes a great base for a family holiday and is situated on a popular stretch of the east coast between the seaside towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe. A seal sanctuary, Hardy’s Animal Farm and Fantasy Island, are all within a short drive. There are fishing lakes, golf, walks and cycle routes nearby. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just along the coast, as is Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. Furthermore, enjoy a day out on the coast visiting the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe, travel inland to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or enjoy some motor racing at Cadwell Park. Lincoln makes a great day out with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta visitor centre. Shop, pub and restaurant all within 1 mile.

A lovely family holiday home with five bedrooms and two bathrooms just a stroll from the sandy beach and promenade, as well as the centre of this traditional seaside village. With plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy, including a large sundeck offering you private outdoor space to enjoy which is also a sun trap. A covered area to one side is perfect for al fresco dining and also for some shade if needed.
The sandy beach and promenade is just 100 yards away where you can walk along the prom past all the brightly coloured beach huts from Mablethorpe to Sandilands, with miles of unspoilt beaches perfect for strolling along. You can often spot seals both in the sea and later in the summer as they head to and from the breeding grounds at Donna Nook, and if you are lucky they are occasionally seen on the beach basking in the sun.
Sutton on Sea has something for all the family with a paddling pool, restaurants, two chip shops, cafés and pubs, one of which is on the promenade where you can enjoy refreshments and a meal overlooking the beach. The main bus route runs close by and you can travel to the larger seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Skegness, as well as family days out at Butlin’s or Fantasy Island. For days out Market Rasen Racecourse is 15 mins drive, the Cathedral City of Lincoln approximately a 40-minute drive and why not travel north just 25 mins to the Humber Bridge and enjoy a walk over it with spectacular views along the estuary towards Hull. There are many good walks and cycle routes to be had straight from the door of Limber Wold House with a cosy log burner to return after a day exploring the countryside. Beach 14 miles. This will make the property very popular with families wanting to have that traditional seaside holiday. A short stroll takes you into the centre of this popular, traditional resort with its fairground, amusements, seaside shops and supermarkets, as well as a range of restaurants, takeaways and pubs to enjoy meals and drinks out.
Donna Nook is a 15-minute drive north along the coast, and is worth visiting in the seal breeding season during the winter months where there are often around 2000 pups born. They are also frequently spotted along this stretch as you stroll along the beach.
You can catch the coastal bus which will take you for family days out at Butlin’s, Fantasy island or into Skegness, with its pier, where there is something for all the family to enjoy. Pub within 1 mile.
