There is plenty to see and do for all the family in the area, with the North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards on the beach, which is well worth a visit. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just along the coast, as is Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. Furthermore, enjoy a day out on the coast visiting the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe, travel inland to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or enjoy some motor racing at Cadwell Park. Lincoln makes a great day out with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta visitor centre. Shop, pub and restaurant all within 1 mile.

The market town of Alford is a 10-minute drive, whilst the Georgian market town of Louth, which still has 3 markets a week, is about half an hour by car and is always worth a visit with its many shops, local butchers and very good selection of cafés and pubs. To the west 5 miles away is the market town of Horncastle well known for its many antique and collectables shops, Cadwell Park Race Circuit near Louth is approx. 20 minutes drive and the City of Lincoln well known for its Cathedral and Castle is approx. 35 minutes’ drive for days out exploring the Castle area or the shopping to be found on the High Street and around the Wharf area which also benefits from many good restaurants and bars to sit outside and watch the world go by on the water.
