For the more adventurous, try a climb up the hill of Addleborough across the dale. The Yorkshire Dales offer spectacular scenery and an abundance of walks of all ability levels to explore.

    The historic town of Richmond, famed for its castle, Georgian theatre, riverside walks and abundance of independent shops and tea rooms, is around a 30-minute drive. The Forbidden Corner in Middleham, a quirky venue with its labyrinth of caves, folly and underground caverns is 13 miles away, and is hugely popular with families. Picturesque Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton are nearby and the market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are a short drive away. Fishing can be found nearby. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 25 yards.
