Kelly’s Place is a fantastic base located less than a mile from Biddulph, The Garden Town of Staffordshire.

Easter Lane Cottage is a beautiful, historic property, set in a quiet spot on the edge of the picturesque village of Butterton in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The cottage lies in the south-west part of the White Peak and is an excellent base for those wishing to enjoy all the Peak District has to offer. The cottage is within easy reach of towns such as Leek, Ashbourne and Buxton which all are worth a visit. They all offer independent shops and cafés, as well as high street names, plenty of restaurants and bars, and Buxton also has the opera house, where you can watch shows making for a good night out. There are also several National Trust Properties nearby and the Peak Wildlife Park is within 5 miles. If you are more of a thrill seeker, then Alton Towers is a mere 10-mile drive.
Butterton sits high above the Manifold Valley. From the cottage, you can get straight onto this trail and walk for miles, connecting to other neighbouring trails. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the Peak District is within easy reach. Tissington Trail - popular with walkers and cyclists - is only 5 miles away. The local inn in Butterton is less than a quarter of a mile from the cottage and offers delicious food and ales. As you drive through Butterton, to get to the cottage you pass through a ford, and from there you can see this inviting and welcoming cottage. Kings Barn is a lovely barn conversion which has been thoughtfully renovated in 2022 by the owner and offers guests space and comfort. Although it has retained some of its traditional features, it also has a modern and contemporary feel. On the ground floor is a living room with comfortable seating, Smart TV and patio doors which lead to the side of the property, a further reception room, again with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen/dining room and a utility room.
