Properties 17320 and 17321 command fine views over the surrounding countryside. 17320 also has a worktop which has been lowered for wheelchair access to the sink in the kitchen. Situated in the grounds of the family farm (non-working), they are only 100 yards from the village of Compton with village shop and tea room with free wi-fi access. Enjoy peaceful walks along a bridle path leading to the South Downs Way, 2 miles designated as a National Park. The historic cathedral town of Chichester lies 10 miles away, with its cobbled streets adorned with tea rooms and restaurants, and the ornate cathedral. This classic detached timber lodge enjoys an elevated position providing the perfect retreat for couples or an amazing base for a family holiday. The popular Glendowlin Lodge development is a small group of privately owned lodges which offer a peaceful and comfortable stay just 4 miles from Ullswater. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and comes with private parking for 2 cars. There are farmer’s fields adjacent to the rear garden, which is lovely in the warmer months when the sheep are out grazing. From this point, you also have far reaching views of the Lakeland fells over to the West.
The lodge can comfortably sleep up to six guests in three good-sized bedrooms. A kingsize with en-suite shower, a double, and a bedroom with bunk beds - this room has an optional trundle bed giving families flexibility for three children sharing the same room. There is also a travel cot bed provided, which can be used in this bedroom if the trundle is not in use. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, so you have plenty of storage space. The main bathroom features a shower over a bath.

You get the best of both worlds with the Lake District to the west and The Yorkshire Dales to the east - even the Scottish border town of Gretna is only a 35 minute drive, so you really are spoilt for choice! You have the market towns of Penrith or Keswick to visit the array of shops and eateries, or the historical city of Carlisle with its castle and museum. Or being located on the fringes of the national park, adventure isn’t far away. From Pooley Bridge you can take the Ullswater Steamer to Glenridding either to relax and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings or to follow in the footsteps of Alfred Wainwright and explore the fells. Alternatively, if you would rather stay local, just down the road is the Lowther Estate. This includes a gothic castle ruin, 130 acres of gardens, café, shop, exhibition and an amazing adventure playground that will keep everyone entertained for ages! There is a lovely network of walks and cycle paths with the option to hire all-terrain bikes, children’s bikes and also electric mountain bikes on site. Following all this you will have definitely deserved a visit to the cosy pub/restaurant only a mile away in the village of Tirril.

The nearest beach is Sennen, approximately 20-minutes walk away (I mile), a large sandy beach surrounded by sand dunes, boasting two surf schools. There are two cafes and a pub in Sennen Cove (cafes open summer season only). No Place is well situated for amazing walking and hiking - it’s just a few minutes from the Cornish coastal path. Whilst you are here it is also worth travelling 15 minutes to Porthcurno, a superb beach and a fantastic area to explore. It is home to the Minack Theatre, an open-air theatre constructed on a granite outcrop jutting into the sea.

From Cleveleys you can take the tram in one direction to the coastal fishing town of Fleetwood, which is home to the outlet village, or in the other towards the glitz, glamour, and razzamatazz of Blackpool. Blackpool is home to an endless list of attractions including the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower, Sandcastle Water Park, Madam Tussauds and the Sealife Centre. Alternatively, a short car journey round the beautiful Fylde Coast will take you to leafy and cosmopolitan Lytham through to St Annes, and finally if you want to swap the coast for the countryside, the Forest of Bowland Area of Natural Beauty is around a 30-minute drive, and the Lake District National Park around an hour.

Bridge End Mill – hosts a variety of holiday home apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms.
