Buntingsdale, EnglandA grand old country house, still a family home – Buntingsdale Hall, an 18th Century masterpiece, stands in its own grounds overlooking the River Tern not far from the pretty county town of Market Drayton.
Approached down a mile long private drive, the principal apartment of the Victorian wing is yours. Following sensitive modernisation the apartment has all the comfort one expects but the grand bedrooms and drawing room with 18 ft. high ceilings retain all their Victorian splendour.
Think huge; supper in an enormous eat-in family kitchen, cocktail hour in the elegant living room. Relax on the big sofas, mix cocktails from the 1950s bar cart in front of the fire; maybe find out who killed Miss Scarlet from the board games trunk, while the little ones build wooden trains from the kids’ trunk - they’ll be too busy to look at their phones!
