Oaklands is a luxurious and spacious holiday home set in its own acre of ground, with three beautiful bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area all on the same level. Perfect for a family or a group of friends to relax and get away from it all with plenty of opportunities to spot the neighbouring wildlife in the surrounding fields. The doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs and ramps can be provided over the doorways if requested, however please note the property hasn’t been specifically set-up for wheelchair users so the kitchen and bathrooms may not be suitable The accommodation feels bright and welcoming with high beamed ceilings, underfloor heating throughout and plenty of large windows, patio doors and sliding doors seamlessly blending the living spaces with the outdoor landscape. Guests will love the rural tranquil location with plenty of wildlife, starry skies, distant views of Dartmoor and beautiful scenery that this perfect get away can offer.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with a farmhouse cooker with two ovens and an induction hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and a washing machine. After a fun-filled day exploring Devon, gather your friends and family around the large dining table for a celebratory homecooked meal and relax on the comfortable sofas and armchairs or sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.
There are three comfortably furnished bedrooms. The master has a kingsize bed, an en-suite shower room and patio doors opening out onto the beautiful decked area. The second bedroom has a kingsize bed and the third has twin beds. The family bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower cubicle, heated towel rail, toilet, wash basin, and a mirror with a shaver socket.

Lurley is located only 10 miles from the rolling wild green hills of Exmoor, where you will find stags, streams and breath-taking scenery, along with the town of Dulverton and Dunster village. Exeter and Taunton are a short 35 minutes drive away offering shops, theatres and restaurants. Within an hour are a variety of beautiful beaches for guests to enjoy on the North and South Devon coast such as Woolacombe, Saunton, Sidmouth and Exmouth. Maggie’s Place is located next to a busy working dairy farm in a rural part of Devon, so it is the perfect property to enjoy the sights, sounds and scents of the country. Inside the barn you will find a king size bedroom with adjacent shower room and an open plan living area which includes the living, dining and kitchen area. The latter has everything you need for your holiday. The living area has a double sofa bed, a TV/DVD player with a good choice of films and an Amazon fire stick.
Maggie’s Place is only a short drive from Bradworthy, home to a local friendly pub offering locally sourced, freshly cooked food and local ales. 14 miles to the north is the port town of Bideford and just 13 miles from the Cornish coastal town of Bude. In nearby Cornwall there’s King Arthur’s Tintagel, lovely Boscastle and many other coastal villages - all with awe-inspiring scenery. The fantastic Southwest Coast Path runs through the region’s rugged coastline and is perfect for walkers and view seekers offering 90 miles of stunning walks. Most beaches allow dogs during the main season such as Summerleaze, Sandymouth, Duckpool and North Cott all have good facilities. The ports of Port Isaac, Port Quinn and Port Gaverne are nice to visit and swim as well as letting your dog have a dip.
The famed Upper and Lower Tamar Lakes are just a 15 minute drive away great for a 3mile walk and lunch in the cafe. There is also Roadford Lake which is also good for dog walks and lunch. The popular Tarka Trail is one of the country’s longest continuous traffic-free walking and cycling paths and provides the unique opportunity to follow disused railway lines allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and river scenery. The Smithy glamping pods are fully equipped newly built lodges in the semi-rural area of Dainton, outside of Newton abbot. Situated on the owners smallholding and with beautiful countryside views. The owners are also happy to give guided tours where they are able.
As you enter the lodge through the French doors, you find yourself in the open kitchen/living/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, electric hob and fridge/freezer. The living/dining area benefits from dining table and chairs, a sofa bed as additional sleeping and a TV. The bedroom contains a kingsize bed with wall mounted TV and en-suite shower room. The lodge has a lovely small decked and patio area to the front where guests can sit out and relax on the two zero-gravity garden chairs, looking out across the fields with various animals

Dunstone Cottage is situated at the end of a private lane in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, offering a truly wonderful experience to explore the wild, beautiful, and rugged landscape. Ideally suited for couples, this cosy retreat is perfect for some time away from it all, or a wonderful romantic escape for two. The accommodation is a one-bedroom, stone barn conversion which sits alongside the owner’s farmhouse and has been thoughtfully renovated to provide high quality accommodation, featuring an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area, a beautifully furnished en-suite bedroom and a private garden. A peaceful aspect of the cottage is the garden which has stunning countryside views, a lawn, and a beautiful patio area. A great space for enjoying an al fresco meal or a glass of wine in the sunshine.
The River Plym is just a six-minute walk away from the cottage and guests can enjoy the excellent walking, riding, cycling, and fishing all available in the area. The cottage is located on the open moor and it is a lovely place to walk and gaze at the surrounding countryside where the idyllic rural scenes of ‘War Horse’ were filmed. There is a 21-mile-long cycling and walking route, Drakes Trail, which runs through nearby Yelverton and links Tavistock and Plymouth sweeping through wooded valleys and open moorland.
Nearby attractions include Buckland Abbey, The Garden House, the Plym Valley, Burrator Reservoir, or Plymouth’s city amenities which is about a 20-minute drive away. The South Devon coast is within easy reach for day trips to Salcombe and the pretty riverside village of Newton Ferrers makes a memorable day out. Surrounded by rolling green fields in splendid isolation, West Yeo Farm is set over 76 acres. This medieval farm, mentioned in the Domesday book, enjoys uninterrupted countryside views across the valley to the village of Witheridge beyond. There are many interesting walks across the land and along the river nearby, and in the autumn, it is possible to help with the annual apple harvest and cider production. This part of Devon is an excellent touring base with easy access to lots of places of interest. Nearby you can explore the Two Moors Way, visit RHS Rosemoor, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes House or the breathtaking scenery at Exmoor National Park, a short drive away. There are plenty of National Trust properties in the area, as well as some fabulous villages and farm shops.
West Yeo Farm is just a couple of miles from Witheridge and a short drive from the market town of South Molton, known for its pannier market, quaint tea rooms and antiques shops. The accommodation is set midway between Devon’s two coastlines, convenient for a day out to either. The award-winning North Devon coastline is within a 50-minute drive and has golden sandy surfing beaches, whilst the Jurassic South Devon coastal beauty spots are within an hour’s drive.

Little Millhayes is a spacious two-bedroom holiday home located in Upexe, which is a pretty rural hamlet in the heart of the Devonshire Exe Valley countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also a dining table with six chairs. Please note that the height under the beams in the dining area is under 6ft, and there is a step down from the dining area to the kitchen. The spacious living room is comfortably furnished with two three-seater sofas, a 40” Smart TV, DVD player, an electric wood burner and coffee tables. The patio doors in the living room open out into the garden, which is very pleasant on a warm summer’s evening.
There is one bedroom on the ground floor which has a super kingsize zip and link bed, and there is also a cloakroom with a toilet and wash basin. The second bedroom is on the first floor which is accessed via a carpeted metal spiral staircase. This room has twin zip and link single beds.
The large garden is enclosed by a 6ft wall and two 6ft gates, and has a lovely patio area with a table and chairs positioned under a gazebo, perfect for enjoying a mid-morning coffee or to eat al fresco. There is a lockable barn-store off the garden which houses a tumble dryer for guests to use, and also provides plenty of space to store bikes.
Upexe is located around 8 miles north of the cathedral city of Exeter (about a 15-minute drive), in between the quaint villages of Thorverton and Silverton. Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills are within easy reach, as well as the beautiful north and south Devon coastlines, which are accessible within an hour, offering sandy beaches and coastal walking.
