The spacious bedroom is complete with a dressing table and wardrobe, as well as a Smart TV, and the superb en-suite bathroom has a freestanding slipper bath and separate walk-in shower. Outside is where the fun begins, with a luxury hot tub, relaxing garden furniture and a barbecue area to enjoy in the sunshine.

Nearby Pickering is a characterful town with a fine selection of independent shops, art galleries and antique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. From here you can take a ride on the famous steam train to Grosmont, Goathland (Aidensfield in the classic TV series ’Heartbeat’) and the seaside town of Whitby, where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Those looking for a quieter pace of life may prefer to walk the many footpaths and bridleways over the North Yorks Moor. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

This wonderful detached cottage with wrap around private garden and hot tub is tucked away in peaceful countryside. Nestled near the village church within the very quaint, small and rural village of Norton Subcourse. It is within easy distance of the larger village of Loddon just a few minutes’ drive away and the pretty market town of Beccles, 14 minutes, with supermarkets, shops, cafés and regular market days.

Surrounded by open countryside, spectacular walks and excellent cycle routes can be enjoyed from the doorstep. The neighbouring village of Thurlton, ¾ miles, boasts a local shop and a friendly public house. The area has excellent road links providing easy access to both sandy beaches and the National Park Norfolk Broads for daily boat hire and river trips. Reedham Ferry, a chain linked ferry crossing, is just 2 miles away and takes you on a trip across the River Yare, with a pub serving good food awaiting on the opposite side, and miles more marshes and villages to explore.
Fishing is available along the River Yare (licence required). Enjoy a day trip to the medieval city of Norwich and explore its Norman castle, many museums, theatre and galleries. Two excellent indoor shopping malls, market square and an abundance of great places to eat and drink. Alternatively, explore the Norfolk Broads where you can join a tour or even charter your own day launch to explore the miles of waterways. Daily boat hire and river trips available at Loddon and Beccles. A 30-minute drive takes you to the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth with its Golden Mile amusements, fun fair, waxworks, pitch and putt, Sea Life Centre and shopping centre. Suffolk coastline includes everything from traditional seaside resorts with good sandy beaches including Lowestoft, through to popular Southwold with its life boat museum, lighthouse, shops and pubs. Enjoy the thrills of Pleasurewood Hills American theme park, 12 miles away.
Relax and enjoy the tranquil grounds of Somerleyton Hall, 8 miles. Travel north to explore Cromer with its pier, working life boat centre, sandy beach and town centre. Blakeney Quay, historic Holt and the Royal Sandringham Estate are all within a 2 hour drive. For birdwatchers there are RSPB sites available locally. There are lots of amazing places to seek out which serve great seasonal and locally produced foods. The historic hill top village of Hawnby is a designated Conservation Area of traditional stone and pantiles roof cottages, with the local pub just a short walk away. Dreamer’s Hut is only 6 miles from Helmsley, one of Yorkshire’s finest market towns. The Dreamer’s Hut is named after ’The Hawnby Dreamers’ - three local shepherds who in the mid-1700s, fell asleep whilst working in the fields on a hot day in the adjacent valley of Ladhill Ghyll, of which the hut overlooks. The shepherds awoke to discover they had each had the same vivid dream of spiritual awakening and being called to change their lives for the better. The three subsequently walked to Newcastle to hear the preaching of the famous John Wesley and converted to Methodism, bringing this faith back to Hawnby. The beaches on this part of the coast are numerous and offer coves, inlets and low-tide rockpools – perfect for children of all ages to explore! The beautiful towns of Liskeard and Tavistock have many amenities and superb architecture and are well worth a visit. Take the train from Liskeard railway station, all the way to Plymouth, where spectacular scenery unrolls before you as you pass through the Lynher and Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This vibrant historic naval city has marinas, the famous Hoe, The National Marine Aquarium and the Barbican’s cobbled quayside.

Situated on a working farm with woodland walks direct from the door, this detached barn conversion is only a short drive from Paisley and Glasgow, with museums, gardens, art galleries superb shopping, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. These wonderfully converted farm buildings originally formed part of the grounds of Dolgoy Farm, a Gentleman’s Estate believed to have originated around 400 years ago and in its heyday was in excess of 200 acres. These charming holiday homes are positioned in a row and are nestled within the grounds of the owners’ 35-acre small-holding, amidst the peaceful sounds of rural life and just 2 miles from the coast. Each property overlooks a lovely pond, home to ducks and other wildlife.

Aptly named Galleri (ref UK31147) features a gallery with a reclining chair overlooking the living area. It has a seating area to the front looking across to the pond and a sunken garden with a private Jacuzzi hot tub to the rear, from which you can enjoy the tranquillity of Dolgoy, catch the sun or enjoy the starry skies.

Snuggle Cottage (ref PA2), one of a row, is a cosy, beamed stone cottage for two, with an open sitting area to the front of the cottage from which you can enjoy its tranquil surroundings as well as a pretty, private patio garden to the rear, with its own private hot tub, which catches the sun throughout the day.

Ponycob Cottage (ref PA6) is named after the Welsh name for pony; the larger Welsh cob, known for its hardiness and good temperament, historically used on the farm. This lovingly restored, semi-detached stone conversion features characterful beams, a private patio garden with its own Jacuzzi hot tub, and open seat area to the front within a truly peaceful setting.

The Coach House Loft (ref 30160) is set on the first floor and has been sympathetically created within the Coach House, also boasting a private patio garden with its own Jacuzzi hot tub.

The owners, who live adjacent to the properties, have lovingly renovated the buildings, and preserved their features and history whilst providing contemporary amenities and comfort. Creyr Glas has been beautifully built and crafted by the owner, it is fully detached and includes a private wood-fired hot tub already at the correct temperature on your arrival, where the moon and the stars are the background lighting and the birds and animals provide the soundtrack, allowing guests to relax straight away, while enjoying the stunning surrounding views. The lodge caters primarily for two adults; however, it could easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 infants if you so wish by bringing your own travel cots, bedding and towels.
This pod is larger than average with an impressive open plan living space, complete with cosy wood burner. It is a fully insulated property and easily heated using the wood burner for which firelighters, kindling and logs are provided, and has a separate bedroom with a comfortable kingsize bed, a large storage area, full length mirror and USB charging points within the property. All set on one level, with one step into the property.
Set overlooking surrounding farmland, this sumptuous solar-assisted property includes a seating area and a private wood-fired hot tub, with fabulous views. Guests are more than welcome to use the surrounding private field for recreational purposes, but pets must be supervised at all times as livestock may be present from time to time in adjacent fields.
It is situated just outside Penybontfawr, where there is a pub/restaurant and a village shop 1½ miles away, and a family butcher just 5 miles away. Lying between the Berwyn Mountains and the Hirnant Forest, this quiet village is just a short distance from both Lake Vyrnwy and Lake Bala. The towns of Oswestry, Welshpool and Shrewsbury are situated nearby, and all offer a large range of independent bars, shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy.
All areas of mid and North Wales are easily accessible from the lodge. The Snowdonia National Park starts on top of the Berwyns, and you will find many places to visit for a day trip, including a white-water rafting centre, sailing at Lake Bala, the mountain biking centre, Bounce Below and Zip World at Blaenau Ffestiniog. The stunning west Wales coastline is only an hour’s drive away.
