Stoats and lizards live in the garden walls, there are newts and dragonflies in the pond, and otters have recently been seen in Llyn Traffwll at the bottom of the paddock. As part of their wildlife recording, the cottage owners regularly undertake moth trapping sessions which guests are welcome to attend, rapidly becoming a favourite activity for the younger guests. New for 2021, cottage guests will have special access to the owners’ new 6.5 acre wildflower meadow, home to nesting skylarks and meadow pipits in the spring, followed by a myriad of butterflies and pollinators in the summer when the wildflowers are in full bloom.
