Loweswater is one of the smallest lakes in the Lake District with the village of Loweswater being set on the banks of the lake itself. Nestled in a wooded valley in The Vale of Lorton, it is the first link in a chain of lakes including Crummock Water and Buttermere. If you like to explore and enjoy walking, hiking, climbing or cycling, you have a vast expanse of natural Lakeland scenery to explore, including many of the 214 Wainwright peaks within easy reach.
