Also worth a visit is Holt Country Park with its wealth of bird life, as well as other RSPB reserves. The region has several stately homes such as NT Blickling and Felbrigg Halls, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall. Other interesting days out include visits to Sheringham Park, and Walsingham Shrine and Priory ruins. Sheringham offers golf and is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash aqua pool, a promenade and a pier.
