    For Beech Barn (ref CZU), between Easter and the 16th July, and the 1st September-1st November, for 7 night bookings the owner is offering free boat hire for one day.
    Beech Farm Barns are ideally located for all the family and for nature lovers there is an abundance of bird life. Within walking distance is Alderfen Broad, which is situated in The Broads National Park, a bird watcher’s delight. For the children there is BeWILDerwood Adventure Park with its treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges and boat trips, which all combined makes a great day out. Nearby is the attractive Broads village of Horning with its selection of tea shops, restaurants and pubs. A day boat can be hired directly from the owner, or book a trip on the Mississippi steamer. The sandy beaches of the North Norfolk Coast are only 10 miles away. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its magnificent cathedrals, castle, museums, theatres, market and vast array of cafes and shops. There is a wealth of National Trust properties to visit in the area which include Felbrigg Hall, Garden and Park (one of the finest 17th-century country Jacobean houses in East Anglia), Blickling Hall (a magnificent house with woodlands and lakeside walks) and Sheringham Park (beautifully landscaped and renowned for its spectacular displays of azaleas and rhododendrons in late spring).     The high ceilings make for a light and airy feel and the views from the feature windows are really quite unique. This gorgeous property boasts an enclosed garden, which is accessed from the front walkway and a glorious open fire, making this the perfect choice whatever the time of year you are planning to visit.
    Stylishly decorated and furnished throughout, you are sure to fall in love with this barn, just as its new owners did when they first viewed it. They have poured this love in all they have done to bring this rather special property to life. You will find quirky features and pieces to admire throughout, making sure that the interior is as gorgeous as the location, no mean feat as the setting really is very special. This is a great place to come and relax, unwind and escape the stresses of every-day life. It is somewhere to read that book you have been meaning to get to, to log in to your Netflix account and snuggle up in front of a roaring fire and just chill out. It is a place to breathe and to just ‘be.’
    But don’t be fooled as this is also a great base from which to explore what many agree is one of the prettiest areas in Norfolk. With beach habitats galore virtually on your doorstep, you will discover rolling sand dunes, wide sandy beaches, salt and clay marshes and picturesque quays, all begging for that all important insta-shot. Families should head to nearby Hunstanton with its lovely sandy beach and stripey cliffs. It is packed with traditional seaside attractions including a Sealife Centre and from here you can take seasonal boat trips out to sea. Wildlife and nature enthusiasts will enjoy their time at RSPB Snettisham Marshes and a trip to Wells-next-the-Sea to watch the pretty little boats bobbing on the quay, while enjoying fish and chips and a lung full of sea air is an absolute must. History buffs really will be spoilt for choice with the Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Estates along with Peckover House all within easy reach. In fact, there is so much to do here you will be spoilt for choice. Having worked up an appetite, you will be delighted to find that there are lots of great places to eat and drink too, many of which serve fresh local and seasonal produce.
    Then after a busy day, you get to return to the Barn to plan your next adventure, sure of a great night’s sleep. Just fabulous!
