Dating back to the 1800’s, this property was once home to the Lord of the Manor! This detached holiday home is the perfect place for larger family get-togethers and for groups of friends alike.
The property comprises a large living room with a wood burner and a separate sitting room, a large dining room with a wood burner and spacious kitchen, and utility room. If you tire of the mountains, you are never far from the sea either with Aberavon Beach 9 miles away, and the famous Gower Peninsula only 20 miles away. The National Show Caves for Wales are a short drive from the property and make a fantastic day out with three of the largest caves to experience. Set in 4 acres of the owner’s land with fabulous views of the rolling valley of Radnorshire and located on the edge of the Coes Sarnua Forest. There are wonderful scenic walks to be had from the bell tents along with cycling trails, take a walk down to the village of Abbeycwmhir which has ruins of a Cistercian abbey which was founded in 1176 and The Hall, an impressive country mansion with lovely gardens, both of which are open to the public. Route 25 will offer some great views and tracks for those cycling enthusiasts. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Elan Valley – superb walks to be had here and the Dams are a sight to see. For those wanting to travel a little further the Brecon Beacons National Park is approx. 45-minute drive, The Royal Welsh Showground is 16 miles and has events running throughout the year not to mention the Royal Welsh Show in July.
