The Pavilion has been carefully renovated with you in mind offering spacious living areas, sumptuous bedrooms featuring en-suite bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher. Outside, the enclosed garden and terrace overlooking the equestrian arena, amongst the backdrop of the beautiful Malvern Hills, makes the perfect place to kick back and unwind with a glass of wine following a busy day’s exploration.
The property is located in the grounds of Hillview Arena and Stables, and you are directly beside a bridle path. The owners offer riding holidays by prior arrangement. Here, your horse can be accommodated during your stay at the cottage, in the 12x12 stables or fenced turnout area. You would also have access to use of the two arenas and show jumps. Bramling Cross is named for a variety of hops first harvested at Wye College in 1927. They used to be grown in the area and are still used by Brew Dog Brewery who describe them as “elegant, refined, assured and understated”. This is the aspiration for the cottage. Sadly the hop-yards that surrounded the property were cleared in 2020. Being nestled within a rural hamlet, guests are not short of wildlife. Buzzards and sparrow hawks are seen here regularly with occasional visits from the peregrines that are resident in Worcester Cathedral! Little owls, tawny owls and barn owls are often heard if not seen. You will see plenty of winter migrants too - one of which is the bramling! It’s not just for the birds though. Bats use the main house as a summer roost, foxes, badgers and muntjac deer all live locally.

Located in the hamlet of Lulsley near Knightwick in the heart of the Teme Valley. There is a lovely local pub offering local ales and excellent locally sourced seasonal food. Nearby in Alfrick you can stock up on some scrumptious essentials by visiting the community shop and have a lovely cup of coffee and cake at the café. Should you want to explore your surroundings a little further, Worcester and Malvern are both within easy reach and Hereford is just a short drive away.

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hills form a nine-mile range of ancient rock, which offers one hundred miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and long-distance views in all directions. The town holds antiques fairs, WI country markets, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. The Malvern Theatre welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company, so why not take a trip to the theatre? Fishing and river cruises are available nearby and there are National Trust properties and gardens to visit in the area. Malvern has many individual shops, cafés, art galleries, restaurants, a luxurious spa, and is also home to the Three Counties Showground. It is the home of the Morgan car, which makes this area popular with enthusiasts.

The pretty town of Upton-upon-Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn and boasts a variety of delightful 17th-century buildings and attractive shops, including The Pudding Shop, traditional inns, cafés and its very own museum. It also plays host to many annual festivals, including jazz, folk and blues festivals, as well as the Sunshine Music Festival. This small, thriving town has its own marina, a vineyard and a well-stocked farm shop at the local fruit farm, plus the town’s medieval church, which is now a heritage centre, is topped by a striking 18th-century cupola, known locally as The Pepperpot. The picturesque Forest of Dean, with its range of attractions, is only 30 miles away, and the cathedral city of Worcester and waterfront city of Gloucester are also close by.
