Muncaster Castle is a 10-minute drive where you can tour the haunted castle, take in the birds of prey show, and enjoy the stunning gardens. Attached to the owner’s home, the bungalow features a large kitchen/dining area with all the modern conveniences and everything you need to prepare a hearty meal to share around the table. An electric fire ensures a cosy atmosphere in the room and makes it a comfortable place for socialising. This sun room is located directly off the kitchen/dining area at the rear of the property. It is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the sunshine when the weather gets colder. Please note the sun room overlooks the owners garden which is reserved solely for the use of the owners family. The hallway also leads to two spacious bedrooms, one with a kingsize zip and link bed and the other with a twin bed. The stunning family bathroom has a large walk-in shower, bathtub, twin sinks, toilet, heated towel rail, and LED mirror. For convenience, there’s an additional cloakroom with a toilet and basin off the hallway. Outside, to the front, is a small patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. There is on-site parking for one car and further parking on the road. Situated in the South Lakes area of the Northwest of England and set within the beautiful Morecambe Bay, this area is frequently described as a ‘hidden gem.’ A remarkable and unique area, it is a haven for nature lovers, bird watchers, ramblers and cyclists. Carr Bank is located on the edge of an Area Of Natural Beauty, meaning there is an abundance of walks literally on the doorstep, with the infamous Arnside Knott offering spectacular views over Morecambe Bay only a short drive away. This area is also perfect for cycling, an ideal mode of transport to take in all the wonderful sights this area has to offer. Being very close to the modest seaside resort of Arnside, this stunning property is perfectly placed to enjoy all the local area has to offer. Levens Hall and Gardens is a 20-minute drive from the property, is famous for the world’s oldest topiary gardens with a wonderful café, and is also very popular with locals, serving delicious home-cooked food. Being not too far from the A6, the rest of the Lake District including Bowness and Windermere are a mere 30 minutes’ drive away and the Yorkshire Dales, with the popular market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and the Water Fall Trail at Ingleton, is equidistant. Morecambe and Lancaster can also be reached within 30 minutes.
You are welcome to bring your dog. If your dog enjoys relaxing on a sofa, the owners ask that you provide your own dog blankets to place on the sofas to protect them. They would also ask that at the end of a muddy walk, you clean your dog (towels are provided) in the porch area before allowing the dog into the rest of the property.

The Coach House sits privately in the grounds of Morland Hall, near Penrith in the Eden Valley. Enter the grounds through the automatic gates and follow the road up to the grand Morland Hall on your left and there is woodland to your right. When you enter this wonderful property there is a wide hallway with multiple doors to the spacious living/dining area with high ceilings, large TV and wood burning stove. There is a second lounge that comes off the kitchen with a large Smart TV and Sky. It has a multi fuel stove and the seating incorporates a double sofa bed for extra guests or the kids and an ensuite with bath and walk in shower. Leading up the stairs there is a mezzanine bedroom with a king size bed. Walk through to the games room where many an evening will be enjoyed challenging each other on one of the games consoles or board games. The kitchen area is fully equipped to create sumptuous feasts or snacks and spend quality time for your family and friends. There are four main bedrooms on the first floor: three with super kingsize beds, one with a kingsize bed, and each room has a different theme and a private en-suite bath, shower, and toilet facilities.
The outside space offers a few different areas. The patio area that traps the sun all day has seating and a large, wood-fired hot tub. The large garden offers a second patio area, has a large lawn area and a wood chipped play area, ideal for kids, with a sunken trampoline and play items, this area has multiple seating arrangements, plus a large BBQ. A fabulous place to spend time with your friends and family there is something for everyone!
Morland is positioned in the Eden Valley and just over 10 miles to the north and south Lake District to enjoy days out hiking, ferry cruises or shopping. Alternatively, you can stay closer to home and enjoy the Eden Valley that consists of lots of small villages with locally run pubs and cafés and excellent walking and cycling routes from the front door.

Definitely off the beaten track, this wonderful holiday home stands in the most beautiful of settings. Lying to the western side of Corney Fell, which is dominated by Black Combe, you will enjoy the most extensive views. The former Foldgate Farmhouse, nestles around a courtyard with outhouse and stables, and has been extensively refurbished. The farmhouse has lovely features - wooden and flagged floors, beams, wood burner and open fire, and has been warmly decorated and furnished with great attention to comfort.
