There is a pond in the garden (young children will require supervision) which provides a natural habitat for newts and frogs, there is also an abundance of birdlife, deer and red squirrels.  If you are lucky you may catch sight of the ospreys which nest within 500 yards of Swan House and regularly fly over the grounds.
