The location is perfect for walking or cycling on Dartmoor, visiting numerous beaches or National Trust properties. Despite this rural setting not far from Bovey Tracey, which include an excellent delicatessen, butcher, baker and restaurants. Beach 10 miles. Shops and restaurants 1½ miles.

Nearby, a golf club and horse riding over Dartmoor are available. Being in the midst of Dartmoor, there are many superb walks, reservoirs, heather-clad tors and Dartmoor ponies. There are many places of interest for the whole family. If you are a keen walker, the Teign Valley is well known for its delightful woodland footpaths. It is an area of outstanding beauty and in the springtime, the Dunsford woods are famous for beautiful natural daffodils and a little later, a carpet of bluebells. All three properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 7 guests. Exeter is only 10 miles. Beach 14 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
