The nearest town is Bridlington just over 4 miles away, and from there you have access along the east coast from Whitby, Scarborough and Filey, right down to the resort of Hornsea. The area has lots of stately homes to visit, including Sewerby Hall, which is only a few minutes drive away, a fine example of an early Georgian residence and renowned for its gardens and a zoo. Castle Howard and Burton Agnes Hall are also just a short drive away.
