    This attractive detached house has been lovingly furnished to a good standard and is situated in the pretty village of Clifton. On the ground floor is a cosy living room, a dining room with seating for all 6 guests and a well-equipped kitchen to rustle up your favourite family dish. Moving upstairs is the master bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite facilities. A further two bedrooms comprise of one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, both with a TV. A family bathroom is also conveniently situated on this floor.
    This holiday property is in a great location for exploring the Derbyshire and Staffordshire Peak District, and the fabulous market town of Ashbourne, with its quirky antique shops and many bespoke coffee shops and restaurants. Ashbourne is known as the gateway to the Peak District National Park and is an ideal base to visit many attractions, including Alton Towers, 8 miles.
    There are so many places to visit in the Peak District that one visit may not be enough. Interesting market towns offer very different attractions. Visit Bakewell and its museum to learn more about the Bakewell Elephant, or the spa town of Buxton with its opera house.
    Castleton and its amazing show caves, Blue John mines and cliff top Peveril Castle is worth the trip, and no visit to the Peak District would be complete without a day spent at fabulous Chatsworth House and Gardens, with waterfall cascade and the Emperor Fountain reaching heights of 300ft!
    Beautiful Dovedale and Tissington Cycle Trail are within 5 miles. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky. A little further afield Bakewell and Chatsworth House, provide a wonderful day out exploring the local businesses that line the streets.
