A real must is a visit back in time to Crich Tramway Village, where you can take a trip through history at The National Tramway Museum, or explore the magnificent Chatsworth House in Bakewell, a filming location for the feature film ’Pride and Prejudice’, as the handsome Mr Darcy’s Pemberley Manor, set within vast grounds and filled with a magnificent collection, including artefacts from Ancient Egypt, some of Europe’s best art collections and modern sculpture. This cosy cottage has been renovated in 2022 to a very high standard, where great thought and craftmanship has gone into every aspect making it a fantastic base for your Peak District base.
The ground floor comprises of a small but adequate kitchen with dishwasher and all the equipment you should require. The sitting room offers comfortable seating, TV and wood burner effect electric fire, there is also a dining table and chairs. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor with shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the master offering a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles. Outside there is an outhouse storing washing machine/tumbler and sink. There is parking for 1 car and an open patio area with outdoor furniture and BBQ overlooking the village.
Taddington village is in the heart of the Peak District and it has a great pub serving fantastic food within walking distance of the property. You can head out on foot on endless walks or explore the local towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth plus lots more!

This beautifully presented cottage is in the heart of Bakewell, a town famous for its tasty puddings and padlock bridge amongst other things. Due to the cottage being on the hills you benefit from the outstanding, far reaching views of the town, golf course and beyond. Bakewell is home to traditional markets, it is great to walk around the local shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants that are all within walking distance of the property. Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, Bakewell is surrounded by many local attractions including Castleton Caves, the Monsal Trail, Chatsworth House and more. If you are a keen walker you are truly spoilt for choice in a location like this.

Bradley Hall, built in 1774, has retained many of its original features including fireplaces, flagstone and wooden floors, mullion windows and shutters. The ground floor comprises a kitchen/pantry with a gas range cooker and the dining room has a dining table to seat eight comfortably.
