It is ideally situated for enjoying and exploring west Dorset and the famous scenic World Heritage Jurassic Coast, and has a large, enclosed, lawned garden with a patio overlooking fields and footpaths towards Seatown. Wander over the fields to the coast at Seatown and enjoy some superb scenic coastal walking up to the top of Golden Cap the highest point in the south of England. Lyme Regis offers a great day or two out, with its picturesque harbour, sandy beach and famous Cob, where you can pass the time fossil hunting, boating, fishing, swimming, walking, exploring the quaint character shops, or simply wining and dining. Inland perhaps enjoy a cream tea at the Broadwindsor Craft Centre, or travel further afield to south Somerset and visit historic Forde Abbey and Gardens. The cottage incorporates wonderful features including a delightful shepherd’s hut outside, a 4-poster bed, and a cosy wood burner. The well-equipped kitchen and dining room combine a large original 19th Century farmhouse table, American style fridge/freezer and tall larder fridge, and ample cutlery and crockery alongside two dishwashers to create the perfect hassle-free space to host family gatherings or reunions amongst friends.
Featuring coastal influences throughout to reflect the wonderful location of the cottage, the rooms are tastefully decorated in cornflour white to combine a feeling of calm and freshness. Doggy Dell is the perfect holiday home for dog-mad guests; it is suitable for families and couples who want to take a holiday for their four-legged friends as much as themselves and are looking to explore Dorset and the charming town of Shaftesbury.
If you fancy pampering your pet, the owner has a pet groomer and a doggy exercise/agility arena. The property is adjacent to kennels, so if you fancy a night out without your dogs, they can even look after them for you!

Church House Cottage is perfect for up to four guests with a generous open-plan living space on the ground floor and a wonderful large garden surrounded by a wall. Upstairs are two bedrooms, both featuring double beds complete with Egyptian cotton bed linen; with a separate bathroom located off the landing. Outside you can enjoy the enclosed private garden with views over the historic St. Michaels and All Angels Church built circa. 1308 whilst enjoying a morning coffee or evening meals/drinks under the stars ready for the next day.
