Going through the two sets of French doors, will lead you into the south facing, enclosed garden with a traditional drystone wall, where you can sit and relax telling tales of your days exploring the area. From the master bedroom you have wonderful views of the rolling countryside. This is a fabulous retreat for couples, friends and small families wanting a typical Cotswolds getaway.
    The owners loved the area so much that they decided they wanted a place where they could come and enjoy their holidays, as well as share the property with their guests, so have made the cottage a lovely home from home experience. Blockley is situated in the North Cotswolds between Chipping Campden, a lovely town where you can sample some delicious food at one of the many eateries, and Moreton In Marsh, a traditional market town where there are rail links to London Paddington. Blockley boasts two village pubs, plus a community-run shop and tearooms which is at the heart of the village and where the friendly locals meet. There are many scenic walks from the doorstep around the village, Dove Dale Woods and into the countryside.
    There are many other towns and villages to explore where you’ll find traditional cafés, independent shops and an array of pubs and restaurants including Broadway, where you can visit Broadway Tower, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water; where you can sit along the shallow River Windrush.
