Entering via a porch way for muddy shoes and coats, the living room is well equipped with comfy sofas, a Smart TV and an electric wood burner. Rear French doors lead you into the back garden where you can relax after a long day exploring. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room is located next to the kitchen where you can enjoy a morning coffee or a family meal. Upstairs via the unique spiral staircase there are three bedrooms - a master bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom offers a shower over bath, basin and toilet.
Farnham is a small village with a pub a short walk away, and Larmer Tree Gardens is only a short drive away, well worth a visit to wander around the beautiful gardens. You can also visit the National Trust sites of Kingston Lacy House, Hod Hill and the White Mill. Dorset Heavy Horse Farm is a wonderful family day out where you can feed the animals or enjoy a ride in a horse drawn carriage. You can visit Moors Valley Park where there are tree top walkways, or you can cycle around the woodlands. One place you will not want to miss is the walks along the Jurassic Coastline taking in sites such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle door, located approximately 1 hour from the property. Beach 20 miles. The Old Guildhall, reputed to be the original meeting place of the ancient order of stone cutters and marblers, is a unique and individual property with contemporary and quirky design practically combined with many original period features. The stunning village of Corfe Castle stands at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck, and is dominated by the ruined castle, which is a delight any time of year. Other family attractions include a model village and interactive exhibition, the village museum, a steam railway and many shops, and Corfe Common is found just on the edge of the village with the Purbeck Way walking route passing through it to reach Chapman’s Pool and the South West Coast Path. The village is constructed almost completely from the local grey Purbeck limestone and around the village square there are a small collection of shops clustered together. The UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline is a short drive away, with the famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Seaside Cottage (UKC5932) and Coastguard Cottage (UKC5933) each feature two comfortable double bedrooms. Bedroom one has a kingsize bed that can be made up as twin beds on request, with a sea view and an en-suite shower. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with beautiful sea views. There is also a comfy double sofa bed available in the spacious open plan living area with kitchen.

The beach is just 100 or so yards walk away and this area of Southbourne is quieter than the beaches towards Boscombe and Bournemouth. It is a sandy beach with fantastic views across the ocean and toward the Isle of Wight and The Purbecks. Also within walking distance is Southbourne high street which has a selection of convenience stores, independent restaurants, shops and pubs, including is a wide variety of takeaways and cafés as well.

There are numerous places you can visit nearby including Hengistbury Head which is an area of Scientific Interest due to the abundance of wildlife. Christchurch with its , independent shops, beautiful harbour and wide range of independant shops and eateries is well worth a visit. Bournemouth is also within easy reach with high street of shops, frequent events, cinema, theatre and of course its golden sandy beaches The New Forest with its free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. It is an excellent place to go walking and cycling and is just a short drive away.

The family bathroom is located at the rear of the property on the ground floor with bath, shower cubicle, W/C and basin. The rear door from the kitchen leads you into the courtyard garden where you will find outdoor furniture to relax after a day exploring. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and bunk beds and the other bedroom offering a double bed. The perfect location to enjoy Weymouth’s beach, historic harbour, shops, and many family attractions.
The home of the 2012 Olympic sailing academy is located less than 10 minutes away here you try your hand at many different water sports. For the walkers among us, you have the pick of many miles of coastal walks, on the famous Jurassic Coastline taking in the sites such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Do not forget the camera on this trip. Chesil beach and Portland are a short distance away, here you can explore many small coves perfect for swimming or relaxing on a sunny day. If you are arriving by train, Weymouth train station is located 3-minute walk from the property, this is the perfect place to jump on and explore further afield. Dorset has something for everyone. Close to the property, you will find Lytchett Matravers with local shops, pubs and restaurants. Further afield is the famous Dorset Jurassic Coastline. You will need more than a day to explore places like Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Lyme Regis and are all worth the visit. From award winning beaches to attractions such as boat trips and water sports the whole family will enjoy themselves. Poole Harbour is approx. 15-minute drive from Holly Hedge Farm which lays claim to the title of the second largest natural harbour in the world after Port Jackson, Sydney, this is a place of natural beauty with trips running daily to the famous Brownsea Island. Keep the eyes peeled for a red squirrel. For the golfer among us Bulbury Woods Golf Club is approximately 1-minute drive from the property where you will find a tree lined course for all abilities to enjoy. Woodside is a wonderful property located in the peaceful village of Mudeford and from here it is only a short walk to the Quay and beach. Mudeford Wood is just a stones throw away and ideal for stroll along the stream (River Mude) or walking dogs, with a field to one side of the wood leading to the community centre. The property is a bungalow, with everything on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms all with kingsize beds, but each bed is a zip and link so can be made up as twin beds (standard configuration is 2 doubles & 2 singles). There is an open plan kitchen and dining room which leads into the living room with a large smart TV to watch your favourite shows and movies. There is one bathroom with a shower in the room.
Outside there is the enclosed patio area with seating for you to enjoy sitting outside. Mudeford is a charming village with local shops, pubs and a selection of restaurants which look out over Mudeford Quay and the pretty harbour area. You can get a boat across the water to Hengistbury Head and from here another ferry can take you up the river to Christchurch Quey and the town during the summer months.
Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve is home to many plants, birds and insects. Mudeford Quay is a popular area for watersports such as sailing and windsurfing, or you can have a go at crabbing to see how many you can catch. The wetland terrain of Stanpit Marsh is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is home to a great number of native birds. Christchurch is within easy reach of Woodside with its weekly market, selection of high street shops, eateries and a harbour to wander around. The Regent Centre in Christchurch holds a variety of shows across the year which are worth watching. There are many places worth a visit during your stay, including the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Further afield you can visit Swanage, Corfe Castle, Stonehenge, Marwell Zoo, Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Peppa Pig World, Beaulieu Museum and so much more.
