Boasting a hot tub and large wrap-around landscaped gardens, this detached property is perfectly positioned to explore Norfolk’s amazing coastline, with its wide sandy beaches and famous Norfolk Broads, a natural haven and habitat for wildlife. Sleeping 14 guests and two well behaved dogs, it is an ideal retreat for all generations, benefiting from a ground floor bedroom suite with en-suite facilities.

There is a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast table, and a formal dining room, the perfect place to host any family celebration. The ground floor bedroom suite also has its own kitchenette, large bedroom with seating, and French doors opening onto the garden. The impressive sweeping staircase leads up to 6 further bedrooms, all beautifully presented.

The house is nestled within the village of Brundall, located along the River Yare. It is the centre for boat building and boat hire, and has its own railway station, post office, mini-market, hairdresser and local eateries. There are two good food serving pubs both within walking distance, one located at the riverside and the other within the village itself with a large garden.

Leave the car behind and walk down the hill to the train station, less than a half mile walk. Here you can jump on the train and visit the city of Norwich, or the traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Norwich is only 8 miles away where guests can visit the cathedral, castle museum, theatre, excellent shopping and art galleries. Wroxham, only 7½ miles away, is known as the Capital of the Norfolk Broads, and has waterside shops, cafés, and daily boat hire with river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways. There is an RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen, 1 mile.
Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches are within 14 miles and include Winterton-on-Sea, Waxham, Horsey and Sea Palling. For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens with a renowned collection of Asian mammals including birds. Here you will also find reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped gardens. Close by, the village of Strumpsham has a steam museum, and Reedham offers Pettitt’s Animal Adventure Park. Beach 14 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

This welcoming, detached family home enjoys a lovely location, standing within 2 acres of extensive lawned gardens and overlooking the surrounding fields and countryside. Arnewood Corner is an ideal base for gathering family and friends, with many thoughtful touches and home comforts found throughout. Enjoy the games cabin, complete with a pin-ball machine, juke box, and a selection of games and toys, as well as the private hot tub, children’s play area and the outdoor heated swimming pool. There are six bedrooms found inside the main house, two of which are on the ground floor. There is a juke-box in the dining room and a piano in the living room.
This lovely property is located just a mile away from the pretty village of Sway, which has a village shop, family butchers, post office and a selection of pubs and restaurants. The ever popular New Forest National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is a haven for wildlife, is nearby with many roaming ponies and cattle along the roadsides and across the heathland, as well as extensive walking, cycling and horse riding routes. There is plenty to do in the area for all ages, all year round; picturesque villages serving cream teas, vineyards, golf courses, stately homes and many family attractions. Brockenhurst is nearby, as is the popular sailing town of Lymington, which is only a 5-minute drive, with its pretty harbour, fishing trips, cobbled streets, boutiques, pubs, restaurants and day trips by ferry to the Isle of Wight.
Other places of interest nearby include Beaulieu Motor Museum, the riverside village of Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens, Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World and New Forest Owl and Otter Park, to name but a few. Further afield, but well worth the trip, are Monkey World and the Tank Museum at Bovington. The property is also within easy reach of many beaches including Mudeford, Sandbanks, Poole and Bournemouth, the nearest beach being 4 miles away at Milford-on-Sea – also great for crabbing! Fresh for the Summer Season of 2021, Poppy’s by the Sea is located in Hayling Island on a private road, moments from the beach. A detached four-bedroom holiday home, able to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests it’s also dog friendly too. The beaches of this popular isle are surrounded by sheltered waters across from the Isle of Wight, making it ideal for water sports activities. It is renowned for its windsurfing and sailing activities, kayaking, power boating, jet ski-ing, kite surfing and wake boarding. Local paddle-boating and windsurfing lessons are available close by. Every year there is a national windsurfing event, and a hive of sailing and nautical activity can be seen along the coastline.
Many activities can be enjoyed locally for all ages, including a seaside railway, fun fair and West Beachlands, great for sandcastles at low tide! Free play includes beach volleyball and adventure play areas. For the sports enthusiast, Seacourt is also worth a visit, with five racket sports. Other nearby activities include golf, horse riding, boat trips and scenic walks along the water’s edge, or walks along the South Downs National Park which is within easy reach. Chichester, with its beautiful cathedral, festival theatre, pedestrianised shopping, leisure centre, Roman villa, and Goodwood or Fontwell races, is definitely worthy of a visit.
Visit Portsmouth, with its waterside dining, ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, designer outlets, Natural History Museum, leisure facilities, Spinnaker Tower, and HMS Victory, or explore the maritime history of Southampton. Winchester, with its cathedral, abbey, and The New Forest, are within easy driving distance. There are plenty of National Trust houses and gardens to also be discovered.

Situated in a quiet part of Cadeleigh, these beautiful, detached, barn conversions overlook the ponds and the deer with amazing views across the rolling hills of Devon. Set 100 yards apart within the owner’s 40-acre deer farm, nestled next to the ponds, the properties are accessed by an unmade track and provide beautiful, spacious accommodation. With these properties being located on a deer farm, red deer and amazing stags can be seen close up, and there are sometimes otters in the ponds. Although the ponds are unfenced, the properties gardens are fenced, so there is some barrier between the garden and ponds.

The village of Cadeleigh lies just 9 miles from Exeter, with its magnificent cathedral and many shops and canalside pubs. Tiverton is just 6 miles away, and Bickleigh Mill with its lovely river walks, small fun railway, shop and café, is nearby. Spend a day exploring tranquil moorland and winding rivers in the Exmoor National Park, as well as the breathtaking coastline full of secluded bays and spectacular cliffs. Exmoor is sprinkled with quaint villages, attractive towns and charming harbours. Enjoy a day out at Tiverton Canal, walk with the horse drawn canal boat or enjoy a boat trip. Alternatively, take a trip to the north Devon coast and explore the dramatic coastlines and sandy beaches. Beach 24 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Brook Hall is a classical English mansion built in 1835, where there is beauty, space, fresh air, comfort, freedom, and incredible far-reaching unspoilt views in all directions with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Set within the delightful little village of Wighill, which has its own excellent pub and located just outside York, one of the most visited cities outside London. You have quick access to the independent shops, café’s, pubs, restaurants, and the many tourist attractions York has to offer. Other towns and cities close by are the fashionable spa town of Harrogate and the bustling city of Leeds. Brook Hall is also on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, both full of bike trails and beautiful scenic walks. Brook Hall is also very well positioned for both York and Wetherby racecourses, so why not have a day at the races? If you and the family fancied a day at the beach, the wonderful east coast can be found in just over one hour. Hot tub hire is available but guests would need to arrange this with the owner prior to their arrival.

It is also close to Southwold and has easy access out into the surrounding towns and villages of Suffolk. Within walking distance is the village of Wrentham, with a village shop, pubs and superb café/deli, ideal for getting breakfast.

Country walks are available all around, and the sea is only a walk or short bike ride away. The Suffolk heritage coastline has fabulous beaches to enjoy. Explore Southwold, a fantastic seaside town with pier, historic lighthouse and high street lined with independent shops and boutiques. RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich heath, offering opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. For great days out visit Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Halesworth Museum, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Easton Farm Park. Vibrant market town of Beccles boasts independent boutiques and chain shops, with an excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home-made cakes and savouries to delight many palates. The weekly market is excellent for all things local, and there is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and gateway to the Famous Norfolk Broads National Park. This lovely barn is on the edge of the family farm, which has been superbly restored in 2021 and extended to provide great family sized accommodation with space for everyone to enjoy. Ideal for families staying together with two separate staircases to the first floor, a large south facing patio with 15ft swim spa, as well as a lawned garden for fun family games.
Just 5 miles from the sandy beaches at Chapel St Leonards and within 15 minutes’ drive you have the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, Fantasy Island, Butlins, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve and The Lincolnshire Wolds. A footpath through the field takes you to the village pub where you can have food, and is a 10-minute walk away, before you return to soak in the swim spa after a busy day out. For those wishing to enjoy a very popular gastro pub there is one at Skendleby approximately a 10-minute drive away.
You can even bring your family pets, with up to three dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles and pub 1 mile.
