It has been refurbished in 2021 and is located within a 7-minute level walk of Lyndhurst village and the beautiful open forest. Ideal for a family or couples for a romantic or active break together. On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy living room with a TV and a wood burner to snuggle up in front of, a dining room and a galley kitchen, along with a bathroom; whilst upstairs are the two bedrooms. There are a number thoughtful personal touches on display in the property including a wine bottle honesty rack, help yourself to a bottle on the house but please replace any more before you leave. There are two enclosed gardens with furniture to sit in and enjoy the sun after a day’s activities.
    Lyndhurst is a wonderful village with a superb array of amenities. Often referred to as the ‘Capital of the New Forest’ it offers a variety of outdoor pursuits and places of interest with the open forest easily accessible for walking and riding. The village boasts an eclectic range of cafés, restaurants, two supermarkets and bakeries. Bike hire is also available (electric too of you fancy an easier ride). There are two mainline railway stations: Ashurst within 2½ miles and Brockenhurst just shy of 4 miles with direct links to London Waterloo.

    The village car park has electric charging points for visitors with EVs.There is much to do in The New Forest with attractions for all ages, including Paulton’s Park with Peppa Pig World just a short drive away. Beaulieu Motor Museum, the riverside village of Bucklers Hard and many picturesque villages are also close by just waiting to be discovered. Shops, pubs, and restaurants are just a short walk away and there are several beaches about 15 minutes’ drive away. Why not treat yourself to a cream tea or ice cream at one of the many tea rooms or ice cream parlours?

    The sailing town of Lymington is about a 10-minute drive, with regular ferries to the Isle of Wight, which makes for a great day out. Try your hand at horse riding, golf, fishing, cycling, bird watching, sailing, and rambling, or simply soak up the beautiful views that the glorious New Forest offers! If you fancy leaving your car on the drive, the bus stop is situated very near the property for trips into the seaside or Southampton.

    Dating back to 1226, the market town of Ringwood stands on the banks of the River Avon and on the western fringes of the New Forest National Park. It is perfectly placed if you are after a walking holiday, as it is a town passed through by the Avon Valley Path. This route covers 34 miles of countryside stretching all the way from Salisbury in Wiltshire to Christchurch Priory on the south coast, following the River Avon the whole time. For more manageable walks, the route has been split into five smaller sections. One of Ringwood’s most popular attractions is the Brewery which offers tours of its premises. Just outside of the town is another top attraction, Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre, where visitors can meet birds of prey, reptiles and insects.
    There’s a wide choice of places to eat in Ringwood, whether you’re after traditional fare or freshly caught seafood. There is a café/bar on the High Street which offers breakfast/brunch/lunch every day. You can start the day on coffee or tea then end with cask ales, world lagers, wine or cocktails, with the option to dine al fresco in the lovely covered outdoor area.
    New Forest Aqua Waterpark and Moors Valley with Go Ape climbing and golf are 2 miles away. Paultons Park is a 15-minute drive away and Monkey World is a 35-minute drive, so there is plenty of choice for a fun day out with the kids. Beach 10 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub 110 yards and restaurant ¾ mile.
