The railway station in Sandwich offers a high speed service into London, plus the opportunity to visit France from either Dover or Folkestone with the Eurostar or ferry. Steps lead from the terrace and hot tub down to a paddock, which is backed by woodland and is an ideal place for enjoying a picnic. In the cooler weather or in the evenings, you can light the wood burner, settle down in front of the huge cinema screen and open the popcorn!
