Nestled on a quiet side street in the heart of Uppermill is the wonderful Co Operative Cottage. With its tastefully decorated interior and beautiful blend and co-ordination of comfortable furnishings, it provides a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to relax and unwind whilst making yourself at home. Set out over three floors each of the bedrooms are well appointed and the kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm should you wish. Externally there’s a private patio plus a lawned garden that’s shared with the other properties on the small row. Private roadside parking is also allocated outside for one car.
The real pièce de résistance however is the superb central location within this incredibly popular village. Uppermill is a vibrant, picturesque village brimming with real character and natural beauty. As you step outside a quick hop, skip and jump will take you to quaint shops, charming cafes, and traditional pubs where you can sample delicious local cuisine. Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Huddersfield Narrow Canal or explore the historic architecture that tells the tale of Uppermill’s rich heritage. Set beneath the rugged moors of the Pennines and on the edge of the Peak District National Park means nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the stunning landscapes that surround them. Lace up your hiking boots and embark on scenic trails through the rolling hills and verdant valleys of the nearby countryside. Saddleworth Moor, located just a short distance away, offers breathtaking views and a real opportunity to connect with nature and other nearby attractions such as the impressive Castleshaw Roman Forts and the iconic Standedge Tunnel provide fascinating glimpses into the region’s past.
Uppermill also serves as an excellent base for exploring the wider area with many towns and villages of the Peak District National Park within easy reach, together with the reservoirs of Dovestones, Greenfields and Chew. Woodworth Cottage is a pleasant property providing everything you need for a comfortable stay for up to four guests. On entering the property, you are greeted by an open plan design with an allocated living area, comprising of a sumptuous sofa and a wood burner, the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring the local area. Barnoldswick is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Pendle, and within the boundaries of the historic West Riding of Yorkshire. Barnoldswick and the surrounding areas of West Craven have been administered since 1974 as part of Lancashire. This was when West Riding County Council and Barnoldswick Urban District Council were abolished and the town was transferred to the Borough of Pendle. With so many local attractions far and wide, there really is something for everyone. Fancy venturing out further afield? Situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley, you are simply spoilt for choices of walks and local attractions. Explore the famous Forest of Bowland, known for being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are plenty of opportunities for golf, fishing, horse riding and hiking. The ancient Roman town of Ribchester is just a couple of miles to the south, home to the Ribchester Roman Museum and a fantastic choice of pubs and restaurants.

An interconnecting door between the two cottages means that they can either be enjoyed independently or as one larger holiday home. Situated down a private lane on the outskirts of the small village of Pilling, these properties are ideal for exploring the North West coast.
