An interconnecting door between the two cottages means that they can either be enjoyed independently or as one larger holiday home. Situated down a private lane on the outskirts of the small village of Pilling, these properties are ideal for exploring the North West coast. Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde are all within a short drive. Alternatively, the Trough of Bowland, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible by car. This idyllic location is set in a large field with country views. Don’t want your furry friends to miss out? Bring up to two dogs along for an additional charge. The hut is heated by the indoor fireplace which also doubles up as the barbecue/water boiling facilities (kettle provided). This is glamping, so the hut only has one socket (enough to charge your phone) and one strip light. There is a superb, separate compost toilet and shower, which is located in a separate little hut complete with solar light and solar driven water for handwashing. The hut is located at the bottom of the field surrounded by trees, nettles, grass and all field-related outdoorsy stuff! Altham is a quiet village in the borough of Hyndburn in Lancashire. A village pub, local shops, petrol station and takeaways are all within a few miles. A popular and scenic area, Pendle Hill is within easy reach of the site, as is the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which offers ample opportunity for remote walking and cycling away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
