This wonderful area offers an array of activities, walks over the fells and through endless green fields with a wide variety of local pubs serving food to satisfy a weary walkers belly. The winding country lanes take you through the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland and onto the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Fylde Coast making this a mecca for cyclists and walkers of all abilities. Nearby Gisburn Forest has an abundance of walking and cycling routes as well as some fantastic fishing on the stocks reservoir that surrounds it. Pendle Hill has some great hikes for the more hardy of walkers and for those seeking a challenge, the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Ingleton Falls are also within easy reach.
