This Grade II listed Park House is in the picturesque conservation village of Harlaxton near Grantham in Lincolnshire, and guests benefit from complimentary wifi and parking on site. This holiday home has 4 bedrooms including one downstairs, and two rooms can be arranged as either twin beds or king size beds. There are a number of golf courses available within a 20-minute drive from Park House. For fishermen, there are also 2 fisheries nearby which offer day tickets (licence required). Belvoir Lakes is 4 miles away (at cost), and Woodland Waters is 13½ miles (also at cost). Explore the market town of Grantham, 2 miles, which offers supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, a leisure centre with swimming pools, multi-screen cinema, ten pin bowling alley, Jump Revolution trampoline park, Fun Farm indoor soft play centre and Alpha Wolf Urban Axe Throwing Centre. Or visit the neighbouring towns of Newark, Melton Mowbray, Stamford and Oakham, plus historic Lincoln and its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta exhibition, vibrant Nottingham and its National Ice Centre, and Leicester, including the National Space Centre and the King Richard lll Visitor Centre. Sunningdale Cottage is a detached, single-storey bungalow with a large garden set close to the centre and seafront in Chapel St Leonards, and is just a short walk to the beach. It makes a great base for a family holiday and is situated on a popular stretch of the east coast between the seaside towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe. A seal sanctuary, Hardy’s Animal Farm and Fantasy Island, are all within a short drive. There are fishing lakes, golf, walks and cycle routes nearby. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Anderby Creek is just 8 miles, Chapel Saint Leonards is 11 miles and the traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 18 miles. Visit the Lincolnshire Wolds town of Horncastle, famous for its curio and antique shops, or the Georgian market town of Louth. Lincolnshire offers an abundance of great walks and cycles routes, and many can be enjoyed right from the doorstep. For those wishing to explore a little further afield, Lincoln, Stamford, Newark, Oakham and Uppingham offer antique centres, National Trust houses, castles and museums, and numerous pubs and restaurants abound to cater for all tastes. Those interested in WWII can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre, both only a short drive away. There are numerous golf courses nearby including the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa. Rutland Water also offers various water sports throughout the year, and the circular track around the reservoir provides walking and cycling for all ages with bikes available for hire on-site. There is plenty to see and do for all the family in the area, with the North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards on the beach, which is well worth a visit. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just along the coast, as is Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. Furthermore, enjoy a day out on the coast visiting the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe, travel inland to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or enjoy some motor racing at Cadwell Park. Lincoln makes a great day out with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta visitor centre. Shop, pub and restaurant all within 1 mile.

Grantham and Sleaford have many shops and amenities and offer weekly markets. Belton House which is a National Trust property is 15 minutes away. Within an hour is the traditional seaside resort of Skegness, Stamford, home of the Burghley Horse Trials, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire Aviation Centre, home of Just Jane the WWII Lancaster Bomber, Rutland Water and even the sandy beaches of Norfolk are only just over an hour away. Sandilands has always been a popular destination for family holidays for many generations and is still largely as it was many years ago. Miles of sandy beaches and colourful beach huts await you and Summer House is only 200 yds from the seafront.
