Just 10 minutes’ drive from Skegness are the long white sands of the east coast. The mature garden, with its play areas and barbecues, provides a wonderful place for family fun, and the heated indoor swimming pool ensures entertainment all year round. Off road parking in designated areas right outside the farmhouse affords easy access for loading and unloading luggage and shopping.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the area. Less than a mile away is a good pub for families, which serves both food and drink. The closest beach for lazy summer walks, building sandcastles, sunbathing or indulging in bracing winter wanderings, is 10 minutes away by road, and the nearest golf course, North Shore, is the same distance away. Keen fishermen will enjoy the coarse fishing lakes just 300 yards away.
The town of Skegness has all the facilities you would expect of an established seaside town and modern commercial centre - shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, cinema, theatre, fun fair, seaside amusements, park, aquarium, sports and fishing facilities, as well as a hospital and excellent road and rail links. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The traditional resort of Skegness offers lots of entertainment for all the family, with a sandy beach nearby to play on or for long family walks with the dog. To the south of Skegness is Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, offering miles of walking routes and a visitor centre with a restaurant, where you can stop off for a bite of eat at the end of a busy day of exploration. Inland there is opportunity to have a go at kart racing, horse riding and car racing, as well as all the amusements and funfair to enjoy. In the evenings, kick back and relax in the private garden with a cool drink, or dine al fresco in the fresh coastal air. If you don’t feel like cooking, nearby are a number of takeaways, pubs and restaurants. Leave the car and head to the bus stop for days out travelling further afield along the coastline. As well as its own large lawned garden and swimming pool guests can also enjoy the large shared garden adjacent to the Brewery Windmill which runs alongside the River Steeping where you can also fish from the bank. Discounted Brewery tours are available, which include sampling and the small market town of Wainfleet has a good range of shops, pubs, takeaways and a railway station a short walk away for days out. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness with its sandy beaches, fairground, amusements and aquarium is 5 miles to drive or just a short train ride away. Shops 300 yards and pub 95 yards.

Days out await you in the cathedral city of Lincoln, Stamford, home of the world-renowned Burghley Horse Trials, the National Trust Belton House and deer park, or enjoy the many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area and from the door. The Battle of Britain memorial Flight is 35 minutes away at Coningsby, and Sleaford, just 9 miles, is close by for shopping and amenities, with lots of tea rooms, cafés, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Donington village is 5 miles with a supermarket, butchers, pub and takeaway restaurant. Shop and pub 2 miles at Billingborough.

Just 5 miles from the sandy beaches at Chapel St Leonards and within 15 minutes’ drive you have the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, Fantasy Island, Butlins, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve and The Lincolnshire Wolds. A footpath through the field takes you to the village pub where you can have food, and is a 10-minute walk away, before you return to soak in the swim spa after a busy day out. For those wishing to enjoy a very popular gastro pub there is one at Skendleby approximately a 10-minute drive away.
You can even bring your family pets, with up to three dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles and pub 1 mile.
