Just 10 minutes’ drive from Skegness are the long white sands of the east coast. Lambourne House has everything needed to relax and enjoy a traditional family holiday, with five double bedrooms, expansive living rooms, a beautiful inglenook fireplace and all the luxury facilities you would expect from a house of this size, including a gym. The mature garden, with its play areas and barbecues, provides a wonderful place for family fun, and the heated indoor swimming pool ensures entertainment all year round. Off road parking in designated areas right outside the farmhouse affords easy access for loading and unloading luggage and shopping.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the area. Less than a mile away is a good pub for families, which serves both food and drink. The closest beach for lazy summer walks, building sandcastles, sunbathing or indulging in bracing winter wanderings, is 10 minutes away by road, and the nearest golf course, North Shore, is the same distance away. Keen fishermen will enjoy the coarse fishing lakes just 300 yards away.
The town of Skegness has all the facilities you would expect of an established seaside town and modern commercial centre - shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, cinema, theatre, fun fair, seaside amusements, park, aquarium, sports and fishing facilities, as well as a hospital and excellent road and rail links. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door, with the coast approximately a 10-minute drive away. The promenade stretch from Sandilands to Mablethorpe is very popular, with bus stops at both ends. A bus stop at the entrance to the Park means it is straightforward to leave the car and journey along the coast to see Skegness, Huttoft Bank, Anderby Creek, Sandilands, Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe for days out.
Skegness is the nearest large town and is a traditional seaside resort that many generations of visitors have enjoyed, and has everything from the funfair, seal sanctuary, aquarium, cinema and the pier to enjoy. Shops, pubs, restaurants and beach all within ½ mile.

This is the perfect getaway for those who love to get out and about! On-site there is a touring site for adults only, and two coarse fishing lakes with fishing included in your stay.
Just over a mile from the beach, where a walk along the promenade takes you north to Mablethorpe and south to Sandilands, your furry friend will absolutely love the walk! There is also a variety of shops, restaurants, takeaway and bars to enjoy, who doesn’t love chips by the sea?!
Donna Nook seal breeding grounds are very popular to visit, with around 200 seal pups born each year, and you will also sometimes see them at Sutton on Sea just offshore or even sunbathing on the beach.
Inland are the market towns of Alford, about a 10-minute drive, and Louth, about 30 minutes’ drive, both with a range of shops and regular markets. Louth is well known for its range of small food shops selling local produce as well as three markets a week, the perfect shopping experience for the designated chef to show off their talent. Good walks and cycle routes throughout the area with miles of unspoilt sandy beaches to stroll along. Shops, pub, restaurant and beach 1.4 miles.

A footpath through the field takes you to the village pub where you can have food, and is a 10-minute walk away, before you return to soak in the swim spa after a busy day out. For those wishing to enjoy a very popular gastro pub there is one at Skendleby approximately a 10-minute drive away.
You can even bring your family pets, with up to three dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles and pub 1 mile.
