The battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Visitor Centre is about 20 minutes away, where the planes can often be spotted over The Lincolnshire Wolds. Beach 18 miles. The medieval cathedral city of Lincoln is within an hour’s drive across the lovely Wolds countryside, and the market towns of Alford and Louth are well worth a day out.
