These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Situated in the family, coastal resort of Sutton-on-Sea, on the main road where it joins Sandilands, these single-storey properties provide a lovely base for a holiday. Drift Wood and Sea Shells (refs 29958 and 29959) are attached and Crab Cottage (ref 29960) is detached – they all offer fantastic holiday accommodation. The area has a lot of activities for everyone, with the coastal resort of Mablethorpe close by and Sandilands golf course is 1 mile away. With the sandy beaches within walking distance and shops and pub also a stroll away, there is no need to use the car, but if you want to explore further along the coast, the busy seaside resort of Skegness is 14 miles away, the market towns of Alford, 7 miles and Louth, 20 miles, are all worth a day out. There is also a nearby bus stop which is the main bus route from Skegness to Mablethorpe. There is a popular hotel with a bar close by with two tennis courts. Free fishing is also available nearby. Situated just 9 miles from the centre of Stamford, the home of the World-Famous Burghley Horse Trials, and 11 miles from Peterborough, this is also an excellent touring base with the area boasting many good country pubs and tea rooms on your travels for refreshment with good walks and cycle routes from your door. Set in over 300 acres of woodland, these detached log cabins lie in Kenwick Woods, near the town of Louth. There are lovely walks straight from the lodges, and cycle routes that take you out towards the coast or inland across the scenic Lincolnshire Wolds. The park also boasts an 18-hole golf course, which makes its way through mature woodland, negotiating no less than 9 lakes, with a bar and restaurant about ½ mile walk. There is excellent coarse and fly fishing nearby, with 15 lakes within a 5-mile radius of Louth (permit required).
The nearby Georgian market town of Louth has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a cinema and the Meridian Leisure Centre to enjoy. The seal breeding grounds at Donna Nook are about a 20-minute drive and are always worth a day out in breeding season. The traditional seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea are about a 20-minute drive to the east, with miles of quiet sandy beaches to explore. Beach 14 miles. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is within walking distance and is well known for its unspoilt coastline that runs southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. The impressive views along with the sheer scale and diversity of wildlife makes it well worth visiting at all times of the year. There is also a visitor centre and café for refreshment.
Skegness is a fantastic traditional seaside resort and has something for all the family to enjoy from its funfair, amusements, aquarium and award winning sandy beaches to its range of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Watching the Banger racing is sure to make for a fun family day out and in the summer you can enjoy a donkey ride along the beach. An 18-hole links golf course is also within a mile.
Alternatively head inland to the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Natural Beauty, and explore the market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. Enjoy the motor racing at Cadwell Park, the horse racing at Market Rasen or even a day out in the City of Lincoln, famous for its Cathedral and Castle.
