There is excellent coarse fishing just 300 yards away and golf (handicap required) is available at the well-known Seacroft links golf course and Northshore (no handicap), which are both nearby. Within easy reach are the famous Battle of Britain Aircraft Museum and the East Kirby Lancaster Museum, RSPB Gibraltar Point, NT Gunby Hall, Snipedale Nature Reserve and Forest, and the historical city of Lincoln with its cathedral, castle and excellent shopping. Antique hunting can be enjoyed at Horncastle 18 miles away, and Louth offers a lovely traditional market town. Skegness and Ingoldmells with its seaside attractions, is just 2 miles. These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Pretty market towns (nearby Louth is a real gem), antiques hunting in Horncastle and racing at Market Rasen are all within an easy drive as is the city of Lincoln with its cobbled streets, castle, cathedral and famous Christmas market. Situated in the family, coastal resort of Sutton-on-Sea, on the main road where it joins Sandilands, these single-storey properties provide a lovely base for a holiday. Drift Wood and Sea Shells (refs 29958 and 29959) are attached and Crab Cottage (ref 29960) is detached – they all offer fantastic holiday accommodation. The area has a lot of activities for everyone, with the coastal resort of Mablethorpe close by and Sandilands golf course is 1 mile away. With the sandy beaches within walking distance and shops and pub also a stroll away, there is no need to use the car, but if you want to explore further along the coast, the busy seaside resort of Skegness is 14 miles away, the market towns of Alford, 7 miles and Louth, 20 miles, are all worth a day out. There is also a nearby bus stop which is the main bus route from Skegness to Mablethorpe. There is a popular hotel with a bar close by with two tennis courts. Free fishing is also available nearby. Wainfleet All Saints is a quaint market town with an array of shops, pubs, restaurant and a railway station. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just 5 miles away, and has a lovely sandy beach and family entertainment, including the Fantasy Island theme park. The properties are just 2 miles from Burgh le Marsh and only 5 miles from the seaside resort of Skegness with its excellent sandy beaches, fun fair, amusements, theatre, a seal sanctuary and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Each lodge has its own private hot tub positioned on the decked veranda overlooking the fishing lakes, which are all well stocked with mature carp up to 20lbs, barble up to 11lbs and bream up to 7lbs, as well as crucian carp, chub, tench, ide, rudd, roach and perch. For those that don’t want to fish, there is plenty to see and do in the area. Attractions in the area include the Lincolnshire Wolds, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby or Horncastle, a 30-minute drive, which is famous for its many antique and collectables shops. Lincoln Cathedral, where ’The Da Vinci Code’ was filmed with Tom Hanks, is about an hour’s drive and there are many excellent walks and cycle routes throughout the area. Beach 5 miles.
