There is something for all the family in the area to enjoy with the antique centres and regular markets at Hemswell Cliff closeby, Gainsborough is just 12 miles away and the city of Lincoln famous for its cathedral, castle and vibrant Brayford Wharf area is just 25 minutes’ drive. Also within half an hour is Market Rasen races, the Lincolnshire Wolds where you can explore the beautiful Wolds villages with many good tea rooms and pubs on route for refreshment. Newark with its marina and show ground is just 45 minutes’ drive. From the door there are many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area. Shop and pub ½ mile.

Brandon is a lovely family holiday home set just 100 yards from the seafront and the beach, in a residential area. Nearby, just 50 yards away, is a shop and café which also serves food. A stroll along the seafront takes you to Sutton-on-Sea about a mile away or you can continue all the way to Mablethorpe which is about another 2 miles along the promenade. For days out you could enjoy the fun of the traditional seaside amusements at Mablethorpe, catch the bus along the coast to Fantasy Island, Butlins or Skegness which has a fairground, amusements, cinema, aquarium, and fun for all the family to enjoy. Owl Barn is situated in a peaceful, rural location between Boston and Skegness. The property is also close to RSPB Frampton marsh which is just 20 minutes drive away and is a very popular spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers to visit. For those visiting shows at Sheepgate Equestrian, Owl barn will make the perfect base as it only 2 miles away. Boston, famous for its Stump and for St Botolph’s Church which sits alongside its market place. There is also the Maud Foster Windmill which is always worth visiting, along with many good shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs for refreshment.
To the north is the traditional seaside resort of Skegness, great for a family day out with its fun fair, amusements, pier, aquarium, and long sandy beaches for strolling alongside the sea. After a day out you can return to your own cosy wood burner and a private hot tub where you can sit back and relax with open views across the fields. This will be popular with walkers, cyclists and those wishing to bring their pet with them on holiday. Ideal as a touring base, with the Lincolnshire and Norfolk beaches within an hour’s drive. The property will be decorated for Christmas bookings, and stays from the 15th December will include a Christmas hamper which contains mince pies, cakes etc (dietary requirements can be advised to the owner).

The Battle of Britain memorial Flight is 35 minutes away at Coningsby, and Sleaford, just 9 miles, is close by for shopping and amenities, with lots of tea rooms, cafés, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.
