This Grade II listed, 300 years old, stone-built, semi-detached cottage was built 300 years ago in 1705 as a bakery serving the then highway outside which was part of the Great North Road to Scotland. The cottage is a little quirky and rustic, with quite high ceilings due to its origin as a shop. The cottage is close to the A1 Trunk Road making it easily accessible to the north and south. For those who want to use public transport, there is a bus stop just 85 yards away with buses to Grantham with its station on the East Coast London to Scotland main rail line route.

The Lincolnshire Wolds are full of good walks and cycle routes for the more energetic with the local pub just a short walk to wind down in afterwards in the evenings.
