    Ashley Cottage is a spacious, detached property that sits overlooking the church in the pretty village of Seaton Ross, close to the market town of Pocklington in the unspoilt East Riding of Yorkshire. It offers easy access to York, the Yorkshire Wolds and the beautiful Yorkshire coastline.

    Inside, the property will surprise and delight; it has been renovated to a very high standard with a modern yet traditional feel throughout. The exposed brick work, wood floors, beams and sloping ceilings give a warm and welcoming ambience. Enter into Ashley Cottage and be greeted by a very pretty hallway, with terracotta tiled floor and exposed beams. From here the cottage stairs lead up to the first floor. The sitting room sits to one side and oozes charm and character with a traditional wood burning stove and a selection of sofas, here you can relax on an evening and watch your favourite holiday film on the large flat screen TV.

    The family sized dining room is flooded with natural light from the French doors that lead out into the quaint, enclosed cottage garden. Although the property has been renovated throughout this room retains an original brick feature wall. The country style kitchen is superb and offers all the facilities required of a modern holiday home. The chef in the group will delighted at the high specification and equipment on offer to them and there is enough room that everyone can help with the washing up! Wind your way up the cottage staircase to the spacious first floor where you will find three beautifully presented bedrooms and the house bathroom. The master bedroom offers a king size bed and en-suite shower room.

    Step outside and Ashley Cottage continues to impress. From the kitchen, there is access to the side patio where you can watch the world go by and enjoy a morning coffee. To the rear is the enclosed garden with a neatly trimmed lawn surrounded by borders packed with traditional varieties of plants and flowers. There is additional seating on the patio which is the ideal place to enjoy a BBQ on an evening.

    The village of Seaton Ross offers many local services including a village shop and a delightful pub, both equal distances from the cottage. At the foothills of the Wolds, the cottage is in a perfect position to explore the beautiful countryside, with a place to lock your bike should you want to do this on two wheels. You are a short drive away from the market towns of Pocklington and Market Weighton. Both offer a plethora of restaurants, independent shops, tea rooms and supermarkets. A day in Beverley or York should not be missed and Ashley Cottage also provides a great base from which to enjoy the stunning East Yorkshire Coastline.
