Tom’s Barn has been lovingly restored and stands proudly on a hill, and the living room is upstairs to take advantage of the glorious views, both inside, with fantastic Cruck beams, and outside, over the hills to the moors above Hebden Gill.

The grounds lead on to ’fairyland’, a special area of oak and ash trees, bluebells and foxgloves, a beautiful wild and dramatic place.

For shopaholics, the famous spa town of Harrogate is a half an hour drive away. Here, you will find the normal high street shops and also high end fashion, or take time to have a traditional afternoon tea at Betty’s tea room. A little further afield lies the historic city of York with its Minster, museums and quaint cobbled streets. Shops and restaurant 3 miles, pub ½ mile.
